So? The one that will really blow your mind is that Lewis C.K. is a Mexican.

India (or China) producing copyright infringing material is about as natural as bees making honey.

No. Someone steals your idea, you're screwed. You're only option is to do it better. Your only option is to find a developer and either hire him (pay him) to make the app, trust him, or start reading and develop it yourself. If it's a really cool idea, you may be able to easily find someone willing to contribute. If you're willing to do all the non-developmental parts of it, promotion whatever, then you may be able to find someone willing to go partner with you. Someone just isn't going to make it for you though.

Apple won't buy your rights your develop your app. I'd offer my services, but I haven't a feeling that if you actually believed that then you'd be absolutely hell to work with.

Also you can't patent app ideas. Jesus Christ! My heading is melting reading this thread!

You would think a pig calling competition would be won by the person that calls the most pigs.

Glasses free 3D television and monitors have existed for at least 8 years now. The first time I saw them was at SIGGRAPH in 2005. A 20" was like $30,000. The cheapest they got was around $15,000 for a 20", but the quality was so crappy they wouldn't even compare. Granted, 7 years later they've surely dropped in price but not by much. Hollywood render artists use 3D monitors to make the 3D movies so they can see how things look all the time. They have a pretty decent viewing angle, though the image gets flatter the farther off to the side you are. I think we're going to be in passive 3D television era for about five years or so before the glasses variety are up to snuff for the commercial world.

I like my post-college friends a lot better than my high school and college friends with a couple exceptions.
