Computer Meltdown

by on
My hard drive died today so I won't be on as much as I used to for the (hopefully less) than the two weeks before the new computer arrives. Had to use the computer at work and it hates this site. Using it made me long in 6 times before it finally took.

Show Hacked by Staff

by on
I am severly pissed off right now. My show has been hijacked by someone on the staff and espidoes written over. No, not written over, everthing has been erased. On January 29th or 40th I don't remember which exactly, I went to The Colbert Report and first found that someone had, without ever going through my queue, put placeholder episdoes in, just the date, which is damn lame, no guests, nothing. So I wnet through the week and put in the guest and show synopsis myself. All the names and episodes were done, and I do what I normally do which is wait until Saturday to fill out recaps and quotes, giving whoever wants to time to submit them and what do I find. THE ENTIRE WEEK HAS BEEN REPLACED! It is now back to what it was a week ago with just the air date for the show. So instead of what I had for Monday's show: Harold Ford Jr. all that it reads is THe Colbert Report: 2/1/2010! This is the biggest load of garbage I have ever seen. Which ever staff member did this needs to man up and apologize for trying to steal my show and then stay the hell away from it. Or better yet, tell me what show they do do I can enter a dozed episodes that only say TBA. Either that, or fire them for gross incompetence. Has anyone else had the staff try and steal their shows? I'm going to go now and REDO what they screwed up, and also put in the guests for next week. Seriously people, if you don't want us to be editors, why don't you say so instead of just putting in whatever you want and messing up guides. I really don't expect this to stay up long since it's complaining about the staff and not praising them. And after fixing the summary on Monday's espidoe I know it was a person becuase the episdoe numbers had been changed and productionc code erased And yes, I put most of this in the forums so the other editors can see it until it gets removed and I get a TOS warning for complaining.

The final Series Anthology disc and it has the beginning of the attitude era. Your announcers, Vince McMahon, Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross. Match #1 Philip Lafon, Doug Furnas, Henry & Phineas Godwin w/Hillbilly Jim vs Owen Hart & The British Bulldog (Tag Team champions) & The New Rockers (Lief Cassidy (Al Snow) & Marty Jannetty) w/Clarence Mason. Match #3: Marc Mero, The Stalker (Barry Windham), Rocky Maivia & Jake Roberts w/Sable vs Jerry Lawler, Crush (v4), Goldust, Hunter Hearst Helmsley (IC Champ) w/Marlena. Since Lawler was in the match, Sunny came down to join in on commentary. Oh yeah, forget the whole Stalker gimmick, the announcers called him Barry Windham. Match #4: Bret Hart vs Stone Cold Steve Austin WWE Hall of Fame: Austin Match #5: Savio Vega, Yokozuna, Flash Funk & Jimmy Snuka vs Farooq, Fake Razor Ramon, Fake Diesel (Kane) & Vader w/Nation of Domination. Survivor Series Antholog: 1987 & 1991

Finally, netflix sends me the first disc. So back at the begining of the Survivor Series and Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse Ventura are the announcers. Survivor Series was orginally designed to capitalize on the heat from Andre the Giant vs Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania III, and this became only the 2nd PPV of the year. Match #1 Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Jake Roberts, Jim Duggan & Randy Savage w/Elivazbeth vs "King" Harley Race, Hercules, Outlaw Ron Bass, Dangerous Danny Davies & The Honky Tonk Man (IC Champ)w/Jimmy Hart & Bobby Heenan. WWE Hall of Fame: Ricky Steamboat. Match #2: Velvet McIntyre, Rockin Robin, Jumping Bomb Angels, & the Fabulous Moolah vs Dawn Marie(Not ECW Dawn), Donna Christianello, Sensational Sherri (Women's Chammp) & The Glamour Girls (Judy Martin & Lelani Kai)(Women's Tag Team Champions....yeah, I forgot that belt ever existed) w/Jimmy Hart. WWE Hall of Fame: Fabulous Moolah. Man, I forgot this match ever happened. Women's Tag Team Champions? Blonde Lelani Kai? Fabulous Moolah with the good guys...girls? Wow. Match #3: Strike Force (Tito Santa & Rick Martel) (Tag Team Champs) The British Bulldogs, Killer Bees, Fabulous Rougeaus & Young Stallions (Paul Roma & Jim Powers) vs The Bolsheviks, Demolition, Hart Foundation, The Dream Team (Greg Valentine & Dino Bravo) & The Islanders (Haku & Tama) w/Jimmy Hart, Lucious Johnny V & Bobby Heenan. Match #4: Bam Bam Bigelow, Mr. Wondeful Paul Orndorff, Ken Pater, Don Murao & Hulk Hogan w/Oliver Humperdink vs Rick Rude, King Kong Bundy, One Man Gang, Butch Reed & Andre the Giant w/Bobby Heenan and Slick. WWE Hall of Fame: Orndorff, Muraco. And as a bonus, beucase I don't feel like making a seperate blog, here's 1991. Before we get to the matches, we get a recap from the old Superstars show where Jake Roberts has a king cobra gum...bite Randy Savage, so Savage is sick and Roberts is suspended, so neither of them will be on their respective teams. On the outside, Elizabeth acts badly and Roddy Piper runs around. WWF President Jack Tunney bans king cobras and all reptiles from ringside. Your announcers: Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan. Match #1 Bret Hart (IC Champ) Virgil, British Bulldog & Roddy Piper vs Ric Flair, The Mountie, Warlord, The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase w/Sensational Sherri, Jimmy Hart, Harvey Whippleman & Mr. Perfect. (Managers on parade, yes managers on parade) Match #2: Kerry Von Erich, Tito Santana v2(El Matador), Jim Duggan & Sgt. Slaughter vs Col. Mustafa (Iron Shiek) , Berserker, Skinner & Hercules w/Mr. Fuji & General Eggnog. Match #3 for the WWF Championship: Hulk Hogan vs The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer. Match #4 The Bushwackers & The Rockers vs The Beverly Brothers & The Nasty Boys w/The Genius & Jimmy Hart Match #5: Big Bossman & The Legion of Doom vs The Natural Disasters & IRS w/Jimmy Hart.

Well, another SS and another announince change, this time it's Vince McMahon & Gorilla Monsoon. And because they're in Texas, everyone is wearing cowboy clothing. The Bad Guys vs The Teamsters Match #1: Razor Ramon, 1-2-3 Kid, British Bulldog (IC Champ), & The Headshrinkers, (Sionne & Fatu) w/Captain Lou Albano & Afa & vs Deisel & Shawn Michaels (Tag Team Champions) Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart & Jeff Jarrett. Dead: Capt. Lou WWE Hall of Fame: Capt. Lou Match was all a set up for Diesel to turn face. Shawn Michaels runs away. Here comes the pain, no not Brock Lesner. Clowns vs The King Match #2: Doink & midgets vs Jerry "The King" Lawler & midgets. I can't care. Todd Pettengil interviews Buil Nakano. Match #3 for the WWF Championship: Submission only: Bret Hart w/British Bulldog vs Bob Backlund w/Owen Hart. Guts & Glory vs The Million $ Team Match #4 Lex Luger, Smoking Guns, Mabel & Adam Bomb w/Oscar vs Tatanka, Bam Bam Bigelow, King Kong Bundy & The Heavenly Bodies w/MDM Ted DiBiase. Pettengil interviews Bob Backlund. Match #5: Casket Match with guest enforcer CHUCK NORRIS!!!!!!!!!! Undertaker w/Paul Bearer vs Yokozuna w/Jim Cornette & Mr. Fuji. Chuck kicks Jeff Jarrett in the face and fails to see IRS interfere. Way to go Chuck.

Survivor Series: 1995

This time, the PPV opens with the now usual pre-show recap and narration. Another Survivor Series, another announcing change, now it's Vince McMahon, Jim Ross & Mr. Perfect. This is also the first Survivor Series not to air on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I forgot this from the 1993 write up: WWE Hall of Fame: Jim Ross Match #1: The Underdogs vs The BodyDonnas Marty Jannety, Bob "Spark Plug" Holly, Hakushi & Barry Horowitz vs Skip (Chris Candido), Rad Radford (Louie Spicolli), Dr. Tom Pritchard & 1-2-3 Kid w/Sunny & The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. The 1-3-3-Kid had just turned heel the Raw before SS. And Marty Jannetty did something I never saw him do before, a top rope powerbomb. Dead: Chris Candido, Louie Spicolli. Interview with Jim Cornette, Owen Hart & Dean Douglas. Dok Hendrix (Michael Hayes) sells a Survivor Series T-Shirt. (They cut the audio when Dok said the phone number. Match #2: Alundra Blaze, Kyoko Inoue, Sakie Hasegawa & Chaparita Asari vs Bertha Faye, Aja Kong, Tomoko Watanabe & Lioness Asuka w/Harvey Whippleman. Dead: Bertha Faye Todd Pettengill interviews possibly the worst Bill Clinton impersonator ever, although to be fair (HAH!) they only called him Mr. President. And Vince wonders why people think wrestling is a joke. Match #3: Bam Bam Bigelow vs Goldust. Back with "Mr. President" and Bob Backlund. Match #4: The Darkside vs The Royals The Undertaker, Savio Vega, Fatu & Henry Godwin w/Paul Bearer vs King Mabel, Jerry Lawler, Isaac Yankem (Kane) and Hunter Hearst Helmsley (This was the pre-bodybuilder phase) w/Sir Mo. This was the brief Phantom of the Opera Undertaker when he wore a mask because big fat Mabel broke his eye socket. WWE Hall of Fame: Jerry Lawler. Match #5: Wild Card Matchup Shawn Michaels, Ahmed Johnson, Sycho Sid & The British Bulldog w/MDM Ted DiBiase & Jim Cornette vs Razor Ramon (Intercontinental Champion), Dean Douglas, Owen Hart & Yokozuna w/Mr Fuji & Jim Cornette. Okay, this was a very wierd concept where it was a mix of heel & face. Sid & The Bulldog were heels and Razor was face. Match #6 for the WWF Championship No DQ, No Count Out, : Bret Hart vs Diesel.

Survivor Series Anthology :1993

Lex Luger and his family open the show and wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. Then some guy sings the Star Spangled Banner. Once again, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Vince "C'mon ref, disqualify him" McMahon are the announcers. But on the radio...yeah, WWF had a wrestling show in radio. Oh and the team concept if back. Match #1: 1-3-3 Kid, Marty Jannety, Razor Ramon (Intercontinental Champion) & Randy Savade vs IRS, Diesel, Rick Martel & Adam Bomb w/Harvey Whippleman. Dueling interviews between Bret Hart & Shawn Michaels. Family Feud host Ray Combs wastes a lot of time before the match. Match #2: Keith, Bruce, Owen & Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels & his Knights. (Red Knight was Barry Horrowitz, Blue was Greg Valentine & the Black Knight was Jeff Gaylord) This was supposed to the Harts vs Jerry Lawler, but a lying teenager claimed that Lawler had raped her, so Lawler was pulled. Dead: Stu & Helen Hart The whole match seemed to be just a set up for Owen's heel turn. Becuase Bobby Heenan insulted the Harts, Gorilla Monsoon threaten to beat up Heenan. Then we switch to Jim Ross & Gorilla Monsoon to run down what led to The All Americans vs Foreign Fanatics. JR & Gorilla called this, I guess becuase it was for the Smokey Mountain Tag Team Championship and not WWF. Match #3: The Rock N Roll Express vs The Heavenly Bodies w/Jim Cornette. VERY obvious audio edit when the Rock N Roll Express came out. Vince & Bobby return for commentary Match #4: Luke Doink, Butch Doink, Mabel Doink & Mo Doink w/Oscar Doink vs Bam Bam Bigelow, Bastion Booger & The Headshrinkers w/Afa & Luna Vachon (Translation: Bushwackers & Men on a Mission) Booger & the Headshrinkers spent most of the match tearing up a turkey and being distracted by bananas, Seriously. Funny note, on the Netflix sleeve they say the "always entertaining Bam Bam Bigelow." I guess whoever wrote that didn't wathc this. Vince described this match perfectly at the end: "This is a cartoon!" Dead: Bam Bam. Match #5: Lex Luger, The Stiener Brothers & The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer vs Ludvig Borga, Crush (verson 3), Quebecer Jacques (WWF Tag Team Champion) & Yokozuna (WWF Champion) w/Mr. Fuji, Jim Cornette & Johnny Polo (Raven). And like last year, Santa comes to the ring with snow.
