GTA IV is the most realistic simulation Rockstar has made. I still love booting it up from time to time and seeing those physics, the AI, etc. It is the most alive feeling GTA to me. V looks better but the world feels magnitudes more shallow.

Always amazes me how mainstream these really difficult, solitary games are. Somehow these games have hit the status of massive game releases in history like Grand Theft Auto, and Halo 2, never thought I would see these at that level but they are.

@tread33: Seeing threads like this, I just imagine people have really unfortunate movie going cultures around them. Where I live it is VERY rarely ever a problem to be at a movie. People aren't talking, people are;t being disruptive. There was one time when I was a teen 15 years ago, where some loud ass teen girls were running a big part of my experience.

Other than that and a few smaller issues, I don't run into the problems people constantly complain about. I feel really bad that that is your common movie theater experience. Mine are great.

Just let people save their progress that it. Make it difficult, whatever, just don't screw with people's time. It can be hard to block off 2-3 hours just to dedicate to this game, Things come up, life happens, you get bored. Don't make people a slave to your games time restraints.

I'll have both consoles so at least I can turn on an Xbox game if I get tired of a run but for people who only have a PS5, that is annoying, Imagine you are an hour into a run and a friend wants to jump online or you only have another hour and you really want to play the new Resident Evil, WELP, too bad, you either have to start over and use your last hour to get to a save point.

Just not cool

@Xylymphydyte: @Xylymphydyte:I think they both will be. Sony is just getting some bad optics rightnow but they will get it together. Xbox has been slowly building themselves back up over the last 5 years. I think this generation both will be slugging huge blows and gamers will win out.

@tbird7586: When Xbox One launched with all the controversy I said they had set Xbox back a whole generation. As time has went on, I was more right than I thought. It really took them years to dig out of that hole and they are still digging right now. It's crazy, they built up so much goodwill and market share with the 360 and set it all back to being a major underdog.

Talk about self-sabotage, they shot themselves in the foot repeatedly from about 2009-2016.

@reznik00:This is a clear troll job and I'm still gonna respond lol. How could you paint any of that as anti-consumer? Your main argument is that people don't have to have an Xbox to play games. Why is that anti-consumer? There are lots of people out there who don't want to buy a console at all but like to game on PC, now they can get access to more games. How is that anti-consumer?

Good on Sony for swooping in. Hope they are rewarded with a great new IP.

Here is what you do. You get it at Best Buy and get the two-year replacement warranty. (Looks like they may have gone up, they were like 12 bucks but maybe 20 now). When it goes bad, you bring it in and get a new. Then get another warranty on that new one. This was a lot better when the warranties were like 7-12 bucks but it still maybe worth it for 20.
