Just so you know they have actually used the GBA cartridge for the frets where you hold the ds sort of like a book and with 4 of your fingers you press the buttons and its the touch screen to strum.

that is what it looks like and i think they are on to something great.

I think most people had seen that before replying. it actually doesn't look so great. Rather awkward i'd say

how so? it looks comfortable to me..

i think given the added width it won't be easy even to just hold let alone coordinate 4 button presses whilst holding the DS with a firm grip and scratching the touch screen to strum. i can't help being very sceptical but of course i understand a lot of research and trial has gone into this etc so maybe it does work. as i have said before, i love guitar hero and i love my DSs, so naturally i want to be pleasantly surprised, but in my heart of hearts I don't see this working.

I have a feeling this game won't be as much of a hot item as the original. don't quite know why, it's more of a gut feeling. i think now that the surprise factor is gone it'll leave most people with "been there done that" rather hollow feeling. sure to be an enjoyable game nonetheless though

I really can't believe a lot of what i'm reading. A lot of games you enjoy owe their existence to a prior game daring to be original. If you can't give credit at least show some respect.

THQ children's film licence games remind me of parents who talk to their young ones in high pitched gibberish and making grimaces because they think the children are incapable of understanding them talking normally.

They're just young they're not necessarily stupid.

Me thinks the truth is somewhere between gamespot's 7 and 1up's 10 ... 8.5-9.0 seems about right for this game. This just shows that people can't have just one source for reviews if they want to make a well educated buying decision.

There is an Ask The Mods forum where this might be best resolved.
