Ok, My office is going to upgrade the computer, Motherboard, CPU, PSU, RAM, Video Card. So I already assumed we would have to reinstall windows, anything else that would have to happen to do this?

Thanks

When you upgrade your computer do you have to wipe the HDD? If so, do you wipe it before or after you upgrade it?

I'm not sure, i only know what he has told me. What would the beeping mean? I'm assuming that if it doesn't have a card then its probably the motherboard?

I posted awhile ago about building a computer for my gf parents n with ur guys help, decided against it. But their old computer doesn't show up on the screen now. They have tried the wire from a laptop to the monitor and the monitor worked so its not the wire or monitor. I believe its VGA but I'm going off of what they said I haven't looked at it.

What could the problem be? Sorry for lack of information. This is all I got.

Could it be a video card?

Alright, Worth a shot I guess? So i just plug it in and start the computer up like I normally would? Nothing special I have to do? Just go to my computer and it will be right there?

I built a computer about a year ago, has windows 7. My moms computers harddrive crashed awhile ago and they got another one and now the computer doesnt work. Would it be possible/easy for me to put the harddrives into my computer and then get the pictures off of them? or would it be better to just take it to office depot or something and have them do it? Also, her harddrive has windows XP on it, and the other im not sure if it even works.
