hey guys just thought i'd let you know that if you get a message on steam saying to join a group called group portugal do not try to click on the link because it will lead you to a phishing site that steals your steam account info. just thought i'd try to prevent this happenign to other people because it already happened to me :(

she got her account back a couple months ago. haha it would make sense seeing as I was talking to her a few weeks ago XD reading date fail! sorry! :(

TC I hope you Didn't Break C_Rule because he is one of the nicest people on the site. A lot of people here have years of experience with computers and will tell you from their experience what they think is best. Just to avoid you the disappointment they had with computers early on, That way you don't have to learn the hard way. I'm sorry but you don't get to blow up in this person's face about a decision you already made for yourself before making the topic. I know for a fact C_Rule has more buddies than you on this board, and I for one am one of them because he has helped me with issues in the past. So in closing, get a laptop if you want but, In these parts its widely known that desktops are much better for cost/performance ratio :)
the one they sell at thinkgeek.com is extremely reliable my neighbor highly reccomends it.
the only reason i dont it becuase alot of the library for the NES and SNES are on the Virtual Console or the GBA. If i were a collector i would buy it let me just say that.
So here's the deal. I had a NES when I was younger like 5-10 years old sold it for $20 in a garage sale with my games and everything.
I was recently looking up the cost of the orignal consoles and came across these clones. The ones I'm looking at are the FC Duo and the Retro Duo. What I'm looking at playing is the Zelda and Mario games. It seems that because it's newer the Retro Duo is the better choice for this (Youtube) but I want to know if anyone here has any experince with these? Or should I just try my luck with the Originals?

its cool man. Hard to get a understanding when AMD vs Intel is going on. Haha you guys & gals must LOVE me for stirring the old pot up a bit! Thanks for the info. Just gotta pick that up soon, and find someone to install it. that's the only thing I don't like to do is install processors in Mobo's (bent pins and badly applied paste is a nightmare)

I really am missing alot of performance out of Crysis and Crysis Warhead, hell even WoW is kinda bad in highly populated area's such as Org. Which was the main reason for asking about the upgrade. Yes I can make due but it (the Cpu) was something bought on the cheap because some stuff broke and I kinda want something better. Maybe I'm being to hasty about upgrading, I don't know. Wow and Crysis are more GPU Dependant. I knew that :) hence the topic title.then somebody said my CPU could use the upgrade more, which I also agree with, which could help some too (eg in WoW went from 2Gb to 4GB of ram and saw a major increase in FPS)
