Right now if you trade an old DS toward a new DS Lite the new DS Lite is $89.99 instead of $129.99. Normally you don't get that much, but there's a promotion running. If your original DS works just fine I don't really see the point of getting a new one. There are more accessories for the DS Lite but that's not really all that important. The brighter screens are more aesthetically pleasing, yes, but it's not a necessary upgrade.
Picross is a fantastic game, and so is Diner Dash. Diner Dash doesn't take very long to beat but it's still fun. I'm still working on Picross. It's addicting!
Yay. I haven't played Animal Crossing in a while and I'm looking forward to a new iteration. I think the name "City Folk" is a little lame though. I agree that it could have done with some graphical updating and some new features, but I think it'll still be fun.
