I've been getting this error forever. I usually just use the HTML editor and write the comment. Rarely if ever do I actually put anything more than words in a comment...soul_motor

How do you do that?? I'm assuming it works, then, and you can post okay?

I haven't been in this situation and I don't know whether you're in h.s. or college, but if you're in college in or a private h.s. and your parents are paying for it- finish no matter what! Who knows what'll happen between you and your mom. Things could stay good forever (let's hope) or could get tough again. At the end of it all, if you get your diploma or your degree, you'll be better able to make your own choices so you won't be under your parents' control so much. If you're still living at home, take advantage of any chance you can to get what you need to get done done so you can take care of yourself. I know that if I'd gotten into the situation you're in, I would be dead. That's partly because I fear/respect my parents and partly because I depend on them for a lot still. Maybe you don't quite have that with your parents? Either way, do what you need to do to help yourself now because it'll only get harder later. Good luck.

I was looking through my cupboards for a snack when I realized that I should just go with the simple and obvious choice - peanut butter on bread with some banana slices added for good measure.

DJ_Lae

I love this! Though I usually toast the bread.

My favorite spread has to be Nutella though. Heaven in a jar. My usuals are Nutella on toast or to dip pretzels or strawberries in. Now I want some!

So you take issue with guys assuming they know what girls think? Fine. I don't get the rest of what you were trying to say there... Is it better to post a pic in an internet forum full of guys? And what's the point with the personality bit? He wanted opinions on his appearance, not his personality.

michellez

Maybe you should read more slowly. The part you didn't understand was in response to your assertion that posters opined the TC is not attractive to girls because he has an attention-seeking, insecure personality. I simply pointed out that he probably does not act the same way in real life that he does on the internet. I never said it was good to do this at all, or in a male dominated forum.

I'm just saying after all this:::

This is ridiculous. So many of you go to the trouble to point out to the TC that this is a forum largely populated by "dudes." Then you proceed to tell him why girls will not find him attractive. Are you girls? How would you know?

I don't think you understood what I meant, or you didn't read the thread. People are pointing out specific physical features that girls won't find attractive. And it's not like he's going to carry around a picture of himself asking people if they think he's attractive in front of girls that he wants to date. Someone's internet personality can be totally different from the way they act in real life.

And then after what you said in your last post, you're hard to follow. Apparently I need to read more slowly because I can't jump to conclusions to comprehend whatever it is you're trying to say. And I also apparently deserve whatever 10th grade attitude problem you're inflicted with when I try to have a (sorta) discussion on some forum. Good to know.

Some people have enough sense to know that someone so desperate for attention and compliments will likely be found unattractive for that reason alone. It doesn't take a girl to know that. There is more to attractiveness than physical appearance.

I don't go overboard with the # of friends I have at all and if any of them start bombarding my news feed thing with status updates or notes or whatnot, I tell it to stop showing 'stories' about them. The things people are willing to do and share on there to get attention is disturbing. My friend and I started a group about it because we were tired of complaining to each other. I guess I just don't want all of someone's business shoved in my face.

The love reality shows. I can't stand any of them. They are so pointless. CleanPlayer

Wait... you mean Rock of Love isn't the classiest and most enlightening family show ever?? Surely you jest. :D

I've read half of the first one and put it down. Twilight doesn't deserve to be on the same shelf as Harry Potter ;).

dylanmcc

(I'm a Twilight fan enough, but obsessed w/ HP. It really can't compete. So... here here!)
