[QUOTE="ShadowDeathX"]The problem you might have with monitors is that some don't downscale well. Since consoles can only pull 720p resolutions, the image blown up to 1080p makes it look pretty ugly.DryBomber5
Thanks for your reply. I have a question, putting aside monitors, have you ever went into a game store like gamestop and you see the HDTV's they display for the xbox 360 (as well as the other 2 game systems). Do you have any clue as to how I could get one of those HDTV's?

Find out the make and model # then see if you can find one online or at a local store.

I'm going to get my first LCD in about a week or so and have a few questions about lag and different brands of hdtv's.This tv will be used only for gaming and my budget is about $500.(Sorry if I sound like a total noob with these questions but I just want to get a good gaming tv for my man cave.) 1. What type of tv has the least amount of lag LED,LCD, or Plasma? 2.Are there any brands that excel at cutting down input lag? 3.Is 1080p or is 780p better for the old style xbox 360 without the HDMI port?Dose the VGA cord make a difference on 780p? 4.Are there any particular tv's that play fps games better than others?(I play alot of Battlefield and Cod.) Any reply would be greatly appreciated.
