If you're referring to Sonic Adventure, then I disagree with that. I think Sonic game's camera has gotten better since then.

DoctorEggman

Well, when i think about it, it did improve in SA2 (well in the speed stages anyway),but some of the things it does, like switching positions midway through a jump, has been in there since SA1.

There will always be camera flaws in 3D games. I've had camera trouble in nearly every 3D game I own.DoctorEggman

I expect some sort of Camera trouble in any 3D game, but in the case of the 3D Sonic games, i find it just frustrating that the camera is still as bad as it was 6 years ago.

I don't give a crap about the reviewers. Gamers who are looking for a good time enjoyed it.
People these days simply don't care for 3D Sonic games.DoctorEggman

I agree. I found Sonic (2006) more enjoyable than Gears of War. Despite all the Reviews saying that no one could get enjoyment out of Sonic the Hedgehog.

The camera in Sonic Heroes is great providing you are going in a straight line. If you try and turn around and go the other way the camera is uncontrollable, if you switch it so its back behind you, as soon as you try to move, it will snap back to the way it was.

The Camera in Sonic the Hedgehog is slight better due to the fact if you press the camera reset button is does tend to stay behind Sonic.

DoctorEggman

I guess that's an improvement.

It's an improvement, but, it still frustrating that the flaw still exists at all.

Hey, camera problems weren't an issue with SA2. I know, I just replayed it so I could write the review.

My hopes still rest on SSR, too. C'mon Sega! You can do it!

DoctorEggman

The only Sonic game I've had serious camera problems with is SA. The other ones gave me either little or no camera problems.

I encountered a few camera problems in SH and StH, it mainly involves the camera switching positions while i'm trying to make a jump, so Sonic just ends up in the Abyss.

I hope that Sonic is included in the SSBB. I mean SSMB on the cube rocked and i think that Sonic would fit in well there.

[QUOTE="benjones1blj"]If there was a Sonic Riders 2, i'll have to pick up the original Sonic Riders a bit quick.wildcat2000

Rent it,just in case, the story is lame and the controls are awful.

I heard that about the original riders in the reviews I read, but after the reviews that Sonic (2006) got, i no longer trust reviews.

[QUOTE="SonicHomeboy"]It has nothing to do with the reviewer. If you think about it, he was the same one that gave Ocarina of Time a perfect 10. Besides, 8.8 is a good score. It seems that my only hope would be Sonic and the Secret Rings.SuperSonic223
I think Sonic and the Secret Rings should turn out better, since the Wii loading times are better than the 360 and PS3. Sonic the Hedgehog on the 360 isn't nearly as bad as the reviews are mentioning. The main problem areas which I think Sonicphc pointed out was the camera being all over the place at times and loading issues. I still enjoyed playing the new Sonic, The fun was still there, but it was annoying that they didn't fix these issues after all this time.

I agree, totally. If they had sort out some of the main problems with the 3D series, Sonic 2006 would be easily the best 3D Sonic game ever made.
