So many said they'd buy a Gamecube when it drop, how many of those didn't? The Cube had a great start but lacked quality games as time went by. Let's face it the only game that you want is Zelda. There will be times you will want to play the Wii on your own, like at night and Zelda is the game for that. So Wii sports alone will not do. My mate is getting a Wii and he tried convincing me to buy another controller so I can play Wii sports with him. I told him to sod off. So he has a choice of buying another wii-mote to play Wii sports or buying Zelda. I told him that "yeah it'll be fun for a hour or so but what would you prefere when you back at home?" Zelda was his choice. I find that multipayer games are fun when playing with mates but that only last for so long. If your the sort of person who like playing games for hours on end do you think that playing with familey or friends will last for hours? You will think 'ooh that was great, now all bugger off so I can play Zelda on my own' So I think its a shame ther aren't more big games coming for the Wii. Zelda, Metroid and Mario Galxy just aren't enough. The VC is great to have, it is optional for you to download any Nintendo game you wish be that NES, SNES or N64. However am I really prepered to pay for games I played before. Once youv'e been through a game its lost its buzz. In most cases games lose there buzz before you finish it. The most exciting part of the games are the 1st half of the game. After that you've seen everything the game has to offer. While I enjoyed playing those games, I'm not all that bothered about them. Lets all be honest, if we really wanted to play these games then we would get them out from the old carboard box you stored them in or would have bought them some time ago. I have 5000 of NES, Snes, GBA, game gear, genesis and wonder swan games that all work brilliantly on my PSP, I just never feel the need to play them. The VC will only come in handy if there is a must have game or you are short on Wii games. The points system to purchase VC games is very useful. With all said $245 just doesn't seem worth it at this point. If I can get Zelda for the Cube a month later then It doesn't seem neccessary to buy a Wii until 2007 when some bigger games come out. My question is, will ther be enough big games in 2007 to purchase Wii as a second console?

For me there are exciting games coming on all consoles. For Justin Calvert | Editor to say that there is not a single game on the PS3 he is excited about, is the sort of comment that only a fanboy would make. I bet there is a game on the 360 you are excited about and that game is also on the PS3 resulting at least one game on the PS3 you would be excited about. Assassin's Creed, you have to be excited about that game? If your comments meant abou the exclusives to the PS3, then this is further proof of fanboyism. I have also played PGR3 and though the graphics are very nice I found the racing to be boring and the handling of the cars f*cked up. Everyone I new who played PGR3 on my mates 360 also didn't like to handling of the cars. My mate with the 360 disagreed with me but I think he only did disagree because he wanted to defend the game that he bought. Eventually he had enough after a few weeks and sold it, and he let me know that I was right about the handling. There is games on the PS3, Wii and 360 I would love to play. I only plan to get one console as that console has the games I most want i.e. Heavenly Sword, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy XIII and maybe some others. I would own a PS3 just for Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy XII. For this I must get the PS3 and there is a bonus that there are some other excellent looking games coming to the PS3. I will be spending my money on PS3 games and can't really afford to buy games for another console. If PS3 games do dry up say in the summer, there's always the affordable Wii which I could get a few games for. As there are plaenty of good games on 360 and good ones coming this year I feel that I won't miss them. There is also a chance that the highly anticipated 360 games turn out not to be that great. Take Gears of War, those footage of the game sure look good the make you drool, your really anxious to play it. My mate has a 360 and I showed him these HD footages and I was shocked to here he wasn't to excited about it. He explained that although the graphics look good and gameplay looks fun, the games itself looks repetitive. What you see in the footage is what you may get through the entire game. He referred to Black as an example, who else thought that while the game was good when you play through the first levels, the game got reallly repetitive? I hope Gears of War doesn't turn out like that for my mates sake. Yes there id the same chance for the PS3 games.
