Well, I've finally been able to narrow my top-3 favorite games ever to the following :

1) Castlevania : Symphony of the Night (PSone)

2) Grand Theft Auto IV (PS3/Xbox 360)

3) The Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion (PS3/Xbox 360)

EDIT : Just wanted to point out that I've been gaming since the early 80's, so I'm not ignoring the old-school generations of gaming. These are just the games that I enjoyed the most.
Finally someone put SOTN and Oblivion in their top 3 besides me.

Fallout 3, when you get the perk bloody mess(I think), that let's you blow up bodies and there are very detailed chunks of blood and gore. Even eyeballs.

There are some great co-op games that are system link as well if you have the available equipment(another 360, 2 copies of the game, and 2 tvs). Saint's Row 2, Red Dead Redemption, and any Halo game is always more fun when you play on different tvs. Me and my friends run three 360s in different rooms using a router and three ethernet cables so there is no "screen watching" in Halo. Just thought I would through this out there. By the way Saint's Row 2 lets you go through the whole story of the game with 2 people via system link or online, and RDRs co-op missions and free roam rules. Borderlands I imagine would be great for system link as well.

I'm using a HP 23" 1080p monitor using HDMI as well, and I just use the default game setting and everything looks like it should. I use the expanded or extended black level, auto source HDMI color space too. And of course 1080p for the video res. I don't even play games on my big screen (61 inch) in the living room anymore after seeing how great Red Dead Redemption and everything else looks on my HP now.

I liked that "nope" vid, and I really didn't like that rip off game.  I'm badron11 on youtube also, so you guys can see my comment.
Both boring games! Battlefield: Bad Company 2 kills both of them!firefluff3

Agreed, i went on it this morning and hadn't been on it in ages, and WOW, such an intense battle.

Its also kind of an insult to Infinity ward comparing a late 2009 title to a 2007 one.

This made me lol. I think it's more remarkable if anything that a late 2007 title is still relevant in the FPS war rather than what you said.

They saved gaming when they came out with the NES.

Agreed. Back then when I was a kid Atari sucked then this amazing piece of godliness came out. Like I said earlier though, the gaming industry at this point is flourishing. And yes, I actually said that out loud....

Again, forge, theater, pics, bungie is pretty good at creativity. I wish that I could make a map or go back and see everything I did in a COD, unfortunately the only way to do that is to capture everything with a cap card or camera. Reach is going to be awesome, Black Ops looks cool too, but Halo is adding even more to their games EVERY time. Anyone else here play the Reach Beta?
