DO NOT BUY anything less than a SONY BRAVIA, especially cause you want a bigger size. I have a 32" BRAVIA, LCD flat panel that runs at 1080p. It looks amazing.
EDIT: IN OTHER WORDS, SAVE YOUR MONEY. Don't limit yourself to a budget just because that is your on hand disposable cash.
According to the 1up network (1up.com, gamevideos.com), Tales of Vesperia is exclusive to PS3. Out of all sources on the net, I believe that they are pretty reliant.
The only thing I can think of, is that you have other wireless devices in your house that broadcasts a similar signal to your psp. The signal could be triggering the remote start function. If you have laptop/desktops in your house that are wifi, they could be causing this problem. The only real solution would be to turn off remote start, or turn off the devices in your house.
FFXIII will hands down be the most graphically superior game. It has already proven so. They have the artists to create uber-realistic character models (apparent in Advent children), whereas some other developers, mostly in the west do not.
I would also pay attention to what TEAM ICO is going to present.

Shane on the 1up yours podcast from about 2 weeks ago played it at TGS. He described Afrika as a Pokemon SNAP, but more realistic. They didn't say whether this was a good or bad thing.
