He wrote the first five books which is enough to basically screw up the whole creation story,and the linage of the jews. And no one to verify. And most of the rest of the old testament was single authors. whereas the gospel was written by a couple of guys,each book bearing the authors name,with mostly the same info but enough inconsistencies to strike me as a couple of guys all telling the same story from different viewpoints.
If you were to apply the rules of journalism,both the old testament and the books of the new after the gospel,are the most suspect,because you cannot run the story because you have no verification. The gospel is probably the most accurate part of the bible and could be publishable in the standards of journalism because you have multiple sources to verify.
Again,your argument holds no water.You have just took one statement in the bible and added your own context to find the MOST flawed argument against christianity I have ever heard. And the funniest part of this to me is that I am not even a christian,but your argument has so many holes in it if it were a boat I would name it the titantic.
i've res every reply in this tread and yours have got my attention. its just perfect...you have no need to prove that someone is wrong and base youre point of view on some new evidence. you just have to prove that youre opponents argument is baseless. rules of journalism apply here as well, because after all bible is a story, unlike any other but still a story. here is the part i liked the most You have just took one statement in the bible and added your own context to find the MOST flawed argument
This is so right. i've seen many christians whos faith is "unbrakable" ...is it realy? or they just cant see any other way or explanation? is it because how they were raised? or tough? because the inquisition had basicly the same assomption ..--everyone else is wrong and i'm right. so nothing is wrong ..you may interpritate everything in youre own way....thats whats makes you human...and thats why there are so many beliefs in the world. if it all were simple written as in biology paper we wold like boring ever after for many thousand years.
