Agreed!I don't know what the new features will be in Windows 8 except for the GUI, but try looking through some ASUS laptops, by my experience they look very good and they are made of some quality hardware which won't burn up due to bad ventilation etc. And waiting for a new generation of proessors isn't really necessary if you are only gonna use it for business.
