Poll No.30 + picture of the day + other news...

Sorry for the so long delay of unveiling last poll's results and posting a new one.

Just to remind you, the question of the last poll was "How often do you play retro games (NES, SNES, Genesis)?" and here is the result

I can see from the results that people are more fond of current generation of consoles but never away from the old time Clasics specially after making them available through current consoles.

Anyways, it is time to move on onto a new poll and here is the question
"Poll No.30: Do you buy second hand games?"

---------------------------------------

For Final Fantasy fans, Here is picture of the day.

- Super Mario World

- Super Mario Galaxy

- Metal Gear Solid 3

- Metal Gear Solid

- Final Fantasy XII

I once showed you my two new blogs "oln1" and "game-nerds". I spent sometime on them the last week to redesign them and make'em more attractive and easy to navigate. If you please can have a look and give me your feedback, I will be greatful.

Thanks for reading,

Master Chief is a Vacuum Cleaner !!

While I was surfing the internet I found two great and funny articles about people resembling the appearances of gaming characters OR OTHER STUFF, just like the following picture.

Master Chief to the left, resembles the Samsung Silencio SC9540 Vacuum Cleaner to the right

For more of those crazy comparisons, check out these two links.

- PSN cards finally arriving in my country.

NOT having a Xbox360
Because of that I can't play one of the best expansions for GTA IV :(

Cliffs Of Dover: One of my favorite songs from Guitar Hero III

My first fishing trip
Of course this isn't the picture of our boat, just a random one from the internet. I finally got the chance to go into a real fishing trip in the boat of a teacher at school. It was very scary the first time but I got used to it later on. Sadly I don't have any pictures for that trip but I will try to take some if I go again.

Monthly Blog (September 09 Edition)...

Sorry for the very late September monthly blog but here I'm with a lot of things to talk about.

September was a big month for me because of the following:

- The holiday has finished and I'm back to school but lucky me students were given one more week to stay at home because of all the fuss about the swine flu so it was a nice week for us teachers.
- Recently two cases of swine flu were discovered in a nearby school.
- Ramahdan "month of fasting for muslims" has finished and I'm glad that I finished reading the Holy Quran for the first time in my life during Ramahdan.
- I watched two new Arabic serieses.
- The most important thing was my birthday on the 14th of September and celebrating that I would like to give this lovely CAKE , only few will understand this JOKE. Have fun reading my blog ;)

--------------------------------------------------------

Before I start I would like to say that I'm very happy about the new improvements in the monthly blog union, the new icons, the new cards. They all look great and the more things are added the more I enjoy writing those blogs although they take a lot of time.

I didn't find my card so far so I will upload it onece they are ready.

Uncharted 2: I began to check out GameRadars scores recently which I find quite authentic and different than other sites which makes it distinctive. Anyways, the surprise is Uncharted 2 getting a perfect 10 from them.

Okamiden on NDS
I know most of you will disagree on this but to me, a beautiful game as Okami, I really didn't want it on a handheld. But who knows, maybe the developer will prove me wrong ;)

Wii price cut: You might think that this news suits surprise of the month but it wasn't a surprise for me because it was expected. But indeed it was a big news and a clever move from Nintendo to maintain their position in the market specially after seeing the aggressive competition from Sony and Microsoft

eerie: Read it in Final Fantasy VI, it means strange BUT in my slang language it means "My wiener":lol::lol:

The Flyin' King: One of my favorite pieces of music from Earthworm Jim

"When things fall, they fall ... Life's a game of chance. You play your cards, and fate plays her...", Setzer from Final Fantasy VI

September's summary:

I enjoyed September more than the previous months because I did a lot of things and I will try to maintain the same pace next months and even try to make'em better.

You will notice the new "Others" section which has the rest of the activities that can't be listed under the rest of the sections. You will notice that the others section is quite big because I spent a lot of time fishing this month.

The anime/series section is bigger than usual not because I watched a lot of animes but because I watched two great Arabic serieses, 2 hours a day.

I hope you had a great September as well. Sorry if I haven't commented on any monthly blog but soon I will ;)

Monthly Blog (July 09 Edition)...

I spent hours and hours playing Little BIG Planet this past month trying to obtain the platinum trophy. For now I obtained all the trophies except for couple of trophies related to creating your own levels. It is very hard to get them because first of all you have to create a really very good level and second because even if you did so, your level might be buried under the huge pile of user created content because a new level is published almost every 20 seconds. Some people go for a trick called H4H "Heart for Heart" in which you heart them and they heart you back, I'm not desperate enough yet to go for this trick .

I was searching for some pictures in the deviantart site and I found this cute picture for someone trying to get some hearts  the user is LexxClark
If anyone of you guys have LBP why not heart him for such a cute picture and why not heart me for posting it here :D
