A lot of people think old games were longer, but what's really happening is that the longer you play video games, the better you get, and the faster you can beat them. When I was little, I spent weeks on Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, but I still never beat it. Now ten years later, I just downloaded it and beat it in four hours.

I really tried to like this game, but I just couldn't. The writing was really bad, the characters were annoying, and even though the battle system was cool, there was no enemy variety, and there was too much grinding.
I think the reason why I could never get into FPS's is because I suck at them. Mass Effect seems to be an exception to that rule for whatever reason, though.
I also don't play tactical RPG's (or even chess) anymore because after losing a mission in Fire Emblem for about the 100th time, I just had to accept the fact that I suck at tactics.
Western is a subgenre of film because films are classified according to themes and methods of storytelling. Western isn't a genre of games, though, because games are classified according to mechanics.
I had some cheap, off-brand PS2 controllers that didn't work properly, and they eventually made me rage so much, I shattered both of them. I also nearly destroyed my keyboard while playing the pre-patch version of Spore when there was a pirate attack every five seconds.
It might be tamer than some of the others mentioned, but Bioshock is the most disturbing one for me. "Would you kindly snap that puppy's neck?"
I'm a christian with a firm belief but it doesn't really impact my gaming choices. I play most games in my fav. genres and the only real subject i prefer not to play is dealing with drugs. Sex, violence, language doesn't bother me but drugs really do.

Actually, now that you mention it, I kinda feel the same way. I guess it's because I don't know any murderers, but I do know people who have dealt drugs, so it feels more real to me. But having said that, I did make a killing off cocaine in GTA: Chinatown Wars.
i thought elena looks more like jennifer aniston, but thats probly just mejohnlennon28
Jennifer Aniston looks nothing like Elena and is a horrible actress. Let's not make this movie any worse.
I grew up Lutheran, but by the time I was 15 or so, I stopped believing in god. Not because I was angry with him or something juvenile like that; I just didn't see any reason to believe he existed without any evidence. I'll play just about any game as long as it isn't about raping people or something like that, and I felt that way even when I was a believer.
