@Evenglare: Ok so I am also tired of this! You do not see, Handicap Characters being made in moves, also like we do not have a paralyzed Jedi. I am tired of this, I am handicap and do not see them including my supposed people in to most moves or in any games that I have played. Plus some games are not Handicap accessible (Microsoft Kinect). Hollywood, always champions for the Gay people, but I do not see munch for Handicap people. They have been shoved aside like "they are all fine", "like o that part of society is fix no need to help them out" Where that is far from it. I have not been able to get a job for years and when I did get one it was short lived because I did not get help with ADA standers for what I need for the job. So I was not able to do my job well be because they did not accommodate any thing for me, so I had to write e-mails to the bosses, that did not make them happy. For things like my disk or the office to be the right height So I can roll under it. Or the fringe to have accuses to it, or the bathroom. then they let me got my sales where not good but I was the best in my district. So you see Gays, have had, and got what they want. Please stand aside and let the other people that need the help, be heard.
@Slacker6000 I reluctantly have to agree with you, and if anyone had watch that movie it is a bad way to live. I am a big gamer thought so do not get me wrong here I like the Oculus and what it could bring for some thing close to the holodeck. Especially since I am wheelchair bound for 3 years know I can felly like I am flying a aircraft or racing. thing I did do in my past and loved but can not do know. But I do feel that this will likely take us away from each other, or we have a problem with people in the virtual world misrepresenting them self's. then when the people meet they are not the same person or the same sex. this could lead do a bad path. But After being in the gaming community for a log time.
I know it will even out and it just like computers will be a place to Relax and play game and get some work and communicate with people. Still have time with the family like me I have found a way to balance my game and mmorpgs and sim with my life. and I am doing alright. Trust me I know because Gaming was my way out of my disabled life when it first happen to me. Then when I got better I found my family was more importantthen my virtual world.
