i have not seen very many games that combine two things i love, real time combat and turn based strategy, off the top of my head i can only think of maybe 5?

total war
armada 2156 (i might have those numbers wrong)
sword of the stars
these last two are really stretching it:
battle for middle earth 2???
command and conquer 3: kanes wraths global conquest???

argh, maby its the usual summer drought of new games, but i find my self so incredibly bored i cannot stand it, there has to be some games i missed

i wanna see flashy explosions in my tactical combat and some 4xing in my strategy.

is it wrong to want to have my cake and eat it to? perhaps thats why i generally dont like alot of paradox games, they have alot of the 4x, but they dont have alot of the flasy splosions and tactical combat

i dunno, perhaps i am setting the bar too high on what i want in a game?

the guy with the 20000 hours in starcraft probably was afk in the lobby alot

thanks for the reply, to be safe tho i think im going to return it for a replacement, the fan is making a rattling noise... but i will know from now on that if i get the same temp it will be fine

im having a problem with my video card at the moment, its a ausis 8800gt... its running quite hot, i managed to find a tool to monitor my graphics card tempature... and its 80c.... is that bad? all the fans are working and im trying to get good ventalation to it

i live in virginia so it can get quite hot/humid here
