Five games to watchout for this year

ITS NSW YEAR!! and as a responsible gamer i'd like to set my resolutions upfront .So here i am with the list of five games that i am yearning to get my hands on!!(one game everyday)

RESIDENT EVIL 5:

This one has been on the cards since way back in 2005 when it was announced by the creator of its predecessors CAPCOM The game is based in Africa and has Chris Redfield as the protagonist supported by Sheva Alomar in towns tracing back the origin of "his highness" himself the T-virus , the game uses the best graphics engine the company has ever had and thus the details of the characters Chris looking stunningly sharp and rich and same goes for the for the bad guys (or the zombies or telepathically- controlled-T-virus-infected-sadists-who-do-nothing-but-attack-anybody-they-see-feed-their-chicken-or-visit-the-church [throught spritualists!!]or the hypermutated-bosses-who- seem-to-be-jelaous-of-the-protagonists-for-not-being-blessed-with-such-good-looks or whatever else u'd like to call them)

The game franchise had recieved good returns from its last installment also introduced as BIOHAZARD 4 and that is the main reason for my revived interest and expectation in the series, the first game of the series i played was Resident Evil 1 ages ago on PS1 (remember??!! the humble but pathbreaking console ??!!). and my expections were reassured by the video previews (if a picture's worth a thousand words then a video is worth a million i suppose, depends on the frame rate i guess??!!)

Another interresting aspect is the newly added multiplayer feature of the game with two modes :online multiplayer and a split screen version.this feature and ofcourse having an accomplice in Sheva with Chris provides many face saving moments (actually saving lot more than just the face) as they can help out each other out of tricky situations

so everybody the date and to live by is 13th of march 2009

Will be back with my next post soon and a new game soon
