They have turned into snobs. Their review scores used to match up pretty well to the users scores but these days it seems to be about 2 points lower than what the users think.

I reckon they give things like MGS and GTA IV a 10 becasue they know the other review places are going to give it a 10 (even though they don't deserve it) as they don't want to be seen as "that place that didn't give GAIV a 10."

the ones im proud of are: gun, hitman, mass effect, oblivion and just cause.

im pretty close on gta 4, jericho, bioshock, halo 3 and orange box

u should only get this game if u love awesome games.

personally i spent over 120 hours in the game. and soon i'll get the GOTY edition to do all the extra stuff

i had already played half life 2 and episode 1 on PC but i played through them again because they're so awesome then after finishing ep 2 and portal i spent ages playing TF2 but then i had other games to play so its been awhile since i last played.

and because im about to go on a gamerpoints spree before giving up playing for points for good it'll be awhile before i play again.

Yeah it's an awesome game. particularly if u have played the previous ones.

multiplayer is good - if u can find a game.

sounds like the bourne conspiracy game thats coming out. it has driving, stealth, shooting, hand to hand combat.

also if u were in a real military group u wouldnt be using M16s and desert eagles. more like M4s and a trusty 9mm
