It's funny how many people acting that if a game have good graphics, then it's automatically a soulless triple-A with shallow mechanics and uninteresting gameplay that only sells pretty visuals.

Let's not forget that most of the recent goty / contenders / top rated games usually does have pretty graphics. TLoU, TW3, OW, HZD, BotW, Nier: Automata, GoW, Mario Odyssey, and so on.

If anything, games with simpler graphics rarely win their way to people's hearts. Aside from minecraft, mostly they're only indie gems like undertale or stardew valley.

First of all, great title. Instead of the usual "which one is better", u opted for "which one is for you" which summed up the situation perfectly. Both game have their own strengths. Neither is "best".

yes, halo and uncharted. forza and GT. quantum break and horizon zero dawn. it's the exclusives.

both consoles could play fifa, mgs, gta, withcer, etc. it's the exclusives that made the difference between those two.

IF hypothetically nintendo decide to join the arms race and make a mindless brute force console, there shouldn't be any problem.

it'll just changes the battlefield from:
halo vs uncharted. forza vs GT. quantum break vs horizon zero dawn.
to:
halo vs uncharted vs zelda. forza vs GT vs mario kart. quantum break vs horizon zero dawn vs metroid.

what's wrong with having metal gear on your console? or the witcher? why did nintards hate triple A games so much? having mario is great, but having mario AND lara croft, that's what will sell our beloved company's console.
i will never understand nintard's love for underpowered console. if one day nintendo want to join the arms race, i will support them as i've always done all this time.

then u're missing metal gear, soulcalibur, beyond good n evil, fire emblem, viewtiful joe, killer 7, and many great resident evil titles. just to name a few.

most are better versions than their PS2 ports.

not white knighting nintendo or anything, just pointin out what u've missed. gamecube is actually the last console where nintendo tried pretty hard to be the most powerful with many third party support. (and they somewhat succeeded. gamecube IS the most powerful on that generation, beaten by only the xbox very slightly. and have many third party AAA games)

@givenchy7: everyone in this whole industry are a company who wants to sell u something. EA, ubisoft, activision, sega, WB, name any publisher in the world. if they have a game released on switch they will tell u that switch is great.

i could only think 2 companies who might tell u to not buy switch: its direct competitors, sony and microsoft. but then again, phil spencer was pretty cool about most things -including complimenting microsoft's rival companies.

that leaves sony. so u're telling me that everyone besides sony fanboys are vegetebles?

@Kyrylo: just because a controller have motion control capabilities, doesn't mean every game on the console will be cooking mama. dualshock4 have motion control capablities.
