My PC monitor is a normal CRT, not an LCD type.  Its has a normal CRT plug.  I was at Wal Mart and saw a HDMI to DVI cord, but the DVI end was wrong, it was a male end and I would need a female end (I would have to plug the little adaptor thing that came with my video card into the end of the cord and then plug my CRT into that)

Anyway, is there a better way to do this?  What would I need and where can I find it?

My PC rocks, its not that.  Somtimes I will get HTML CLASS errors.  Also this is the only fourm that acts up.  The only thing that may be by fault is the way I check spelling.  I use the Google Search Bar that has a spell checker.  Thats usually when I get the html errors.  If I copy the message, paste it to the notepad, then copy from the NP and then put it in a new message it works.  Odd.

Telling someone there computer sucks is something a 8 year old would say.

I can not believe how BUGGY the gamespot forums are.  Here is just a short list:

1.  Sometimes the OPTIONS don't load up right (they area at the top with the B I U and the FONT stuff), just the text area.

2.  Going along with point 1 if you try to do a message like that and hit SUBMIT  then it just sits there.  If you hit it again it says "Waiting for Server Response, one click is sufficient"  but nothing ever happens.

3.  Sometimes after typing something in and you hit SUBMITB it gives an error like "HTML tag something something".  The only way to fix that is to copy your text to the notepad, then copy it from there and re paste it in a new message screen, then it works fine.  What the heck is up with that!

Buggy as sin, happy the people who made the forum code don't make GAMES :)

I bet you can use the jump drive as a toaster after using it for that a bit :)  I have a hunch it wont be long before you will have the option of having flash RAM in the PC, would make shutting down a snap.  Just save a "snapshot" of your system to the flash and then shutdown.  Hit the power button and the PC boots off the flash ram and your back up from a cold start to running in about 2-3secs.

Yep use the can, never use a vacuum cleaner with a hose on it, they can produce static charge.  Also one of your fans may be going bad, I know when my big box fan died last summer it had a smell like Akron during the tire burning festival.

I hear you can do that in Vista instead of using the hard drive for virtual RAM.. That sounds cool, should be a lot faster.  What does a PC need to do that?

I cant afford a $900 CPU :D  I will stick with AMD, more then enough for me.  Heck my AMD 64 3200+ is not all that bad, but I think my video card is a bottleneck.

I am on a budget, I cant afford the Duos.  This is the best I can do.  Gonna wait till I can get a good GPU for it as well.
