Well its been almost a month and I just now got the game, but to my surprise - HORRIBLE STUTTERING, I can't STAND it. It does make the game unplayable and as much as I wanna play I just can't handle all this stuttering. I'll aim down my sights and when I press the shoot button my aim will be stuck for like 4 seconds, and when I get shot at I freeze up, it's so stupid.

I highly doubt my proc is the problem here, I could run CoD4 and MW2 both on full graphics and highest resolution and maintain 50-60 FPS and never get any kind of stuttering whatsoever, and as far as I can tell this looks just like those games except with more upgrades and stuff.

320mb 8800 GTS 2.66 Ghz AMD dual core 4 GB 800 mhz ram And I got a lot of HD space left

Your specs definetly wont max it out, but it should run fine on medium/high. What about your internet connection? go to speedtest.net and post the results here.

So I got all excited cause CoD Black Ops came in the mail, but I install it and such and when I start playing it I get this HORRIBLE stuttering and lagging. I turned all of my settings down and then tried again, still horrible stuttering and lagging. So I assumed it was because my hard drive needed space to be cleared up, so I cleared up about 100 gigs of space, STILL horrible stuttering and lagging. So I finally turned off my computer and got out some compressed air (glad I did) and started blowing out my computer, I was amazed by the amount of dust that was in my computer, with the amount that I saw in there, I'm surprised it even ran anymore! But anyways, I cleaned out the computer and start up the computer, play Black Ops, no luck. I've done all of the fixes I could find, is there a patch for this?

Frame rate stutteringNeed to click repeatedly on servers just to join them, or wait for the entire list to loadChat box in the lobby during Zombie mode doesn't work most of the timeNetwork issues (lag). Sometimes it's so bad you and/or other player's will freeze on the spot whereas others can just run around freely and kill the frozen playerDuring Zombie mode, if even one person doesn't click ready within a small amount of time, the party session will fail and kick everyone out, often loading an annoying cinematicNot even a stop button to stop refreshing 10k+ servers in the listNo filter option for maximum pingTheatre mode barely worksThere's a bug causing the game to roll back player's XP and levelsPrestige leaderboards don't work

These are things I've noticed so far that need fixed.

Well that's a turn off... XP and levels aren't saved through steam anymore?

[QUOTE="Zethlis"]Whenever a big battle starts to go on, my frames will drop from 40-60 FPS all the way down to 1 FPS and stay there until it clears up. From what I've heard it's a Starcraft 2 problem, but it's been months since the games release so I think it may have something to do with me specifically? Are there any known fixes to this?Empirefrtw
Considering you made two threads about two different games I would say it is your system.

Yeah I would say that too but it works great on CoD4 and MW2 and stuff so I don't understand why it'd be **** out on me now, especially since my specs are above recommended

Whenever I play Mass Effect 1 or 2 I randomly start lag spiking in combat, like it'll be smooth one second then the next it gets choppy then it repeats itself. It's very annoying. Any known fixes to this?

Does anybody know if there's a fix for Starcraft II lag? It eats my processor and my processor is above the recommended specs
