I applied for beta for Age of Conan, and I'm wondering if they've started picking applicants yet. I would really like to get into beta so I'm just curious if I lost out or if there's still a chance I'll get in early.
I have tried Starcraft, Warcraft 3, and Company of Heroes.  I can't ever win a game online, and when I try to play the computer, I can't win unless I rush.
 How can anyone get good at these games? I can't seem to improve and I don't know why. I feel frustrated because I have tried for a long time at these games and I have even looked at guides online.
Anyone have any advice?Â

I'm like you. I suck at RTS online, although its one of my favorite genres of gaming.
 edit - Also, I don't mind losing, but I HATE when people whine and complain about you either beating them, or about you not being good enough. Its a lose lose situation.
The ability to play as monster characters in this game has me sold. And the environments and characters are simply breathtaking. I plan on getting the game, and I'm a long time wow player.
Hello, I really enjoyed Warcraft 3, but I'm totally put off by the battle.net community at large. Too much whining and complaining. Although I guess that can be found in any online game really....it just seems that battle.net is the worst.
 Anyhow, what RTS game in your opinion has a really good community?
I'm in a guild in WoW. Makes it easier to find groups and to have people to chat with while playing. But other than high end raiding, there's really no need.
