Surprised at the lack of impressions, so I'll leave my own behind.

Did my first playthrough on normal and got the True Lover Ending.

I'm absolutely infatuated by the game's gameplay, music, and visual presentation. It's the perfect package and rewardingly challenging, I've gotten six gold trophies so far and working on the last couple. Babel is a whole different ball game, but completely addicting. The bar and text message system are a great tease for things to come in Persona 5, hopefully we get some info at TGS this September.

If you are playing on 360 like myself, you can get Vincent, Catherine, Katherine, Erica, and Midnight Venus Gamer Pics in the Septemeber 2011 Issue of OXM. Picked one up tonight at Fry's for 9.99 US before tax.

Later, I'll have impressions of CO-OP and Versus, but my friend wants to finish his first Golden Playhouse playthrough before playing with me.

I'm hyped. About a month or so decided to upgrade to a Deluxe Edition. Still debating wether to go into my first playthrough on Normal or Hard; I breezed through the demo easily.

Not a fan of having to use Analog for this game due to having a 360, but oh well, it's still manageable.

I've had my copy fully paid off for ages, and I don't see any need to, um, upgrade to the Deluxe Edition.

However, it's very cool that even those getting the regular edition get an art book and soundtrack CD. I wish more publishers would emulate Atlus in that regard.

I don't want to be the guy that lists a video game track in this kind of thread but I don't listen to that much music to begin with.

Xion's Theme from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Terrible game, fantastic piece of music.

I'm not going to tackle all those questions, but I'll respond to one in particular.

What effects do you believe violent video games have on children? Does the government have the right to control this?

Not-A-Stalker

There's actually a fantastic book on this issue that I'll go ahead and plug. Grand Theft Childhhod The Surprsing Truth About Violent Video Games and What Parents Can Do. Lots of nice statistics, studies, and quotes from children (male and female) about why they play violent video games. There's also talk about the ERSB, whether games cause short term and long term aggression, etc.

Besides, having a book on your references looks nice, and it's a great read to boot.

Funnily enough, my account got compromised a few days ago and I got a free month of play time from resecuring it. I had quit back in January and was gonna resub when this semester was over, but that changed.

I play on Grizzly Hills for Alliance PVE and Illidan for Horde PVP, so if anyone happens to play on either of those, I'd be happy to network.

It's funny though, it's as though WoW was stuck in a time capsule since I left and recently returned. There is zero new content since launch except for bug fixes and a balance patch. I didn't think Blizzard would manage to replicate the gap between Naxxrammas and Ulduar, and yet here we are.

Still having some fun though. I play an hour a day and switch off each day between questing and PVP.

I woke up in the middle of my wisdom teeth removal. Was only conscious for about 2 minutes before they knocked me out again, but within that timeframe I felt the sensation of having the tooth pulled out without any pain.

Anyways, I know it sucks to have your range of food choices limited, but you just have to deal with it for 2-6 days. It'll be over before you know it.

I also hope you aren't still bleeding from the gums, I was getting blood filled gauze until the middle of the fourth day post-op.

I just got a 360 off a friend so I'm working on building up my gaming library with some "classics" from the bargain bin.

If you ever enjoyed playing The Sims, I'd recommend picking up Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise. Similar concept with some Pokemon elements thrown in, and delicious eye candy on top of that.

You'd also be able to find it cheap, which is what you seem to be aiming for.

As far as consoles are concerned, I'm getting Catherine, which is still a fairly long wait.

Handheld wise, Dissidia 012 next week, and SMT: Strange Journey sometime the next few weeks. I've been on an Atlus kick the last few weeks.
