I've literally only seen/heard people knock Bethesda and Skyrim on forums like these.

That game was fucking awesome and at least you're sure to get your moneys worth out of a Bethesda title. Was Skyrim as good as Morrowind? No, but it beat the fucking brakes off of Oblivion.

Why so many people praise Oblivion and then bash Skyrim is beyond me. Oblivion had no sense of atmosphere or exploration at all. The whole goddamn map consisted of nothing but green hills and trees with the exception of the one snowy town (Bruma?) at the northern part of the map. Not to mention their were only like 5 dungeon/cave designs in the entire game. Everything was repetitive as hell. Especially when you walk into a ruin or cavern and there's nothing but those damn imps or skeletons all over the place. No real enemy diversity at all.

Sony is always guaranteed to release a shitload of prime exclusives throughout a consoles life span.

There were tons of great games for the PS1, PS2 and PS3...so why would I feel nervous about the PS4?

Because Final Fantasy has sucked a bag of dicks since FFX.

The storylines and characters can't stack up to any of the first 9 games, they've gotten rid of turn based combat and pretty much turned it into a lame ass action game with some RPG elements, they've ridden the series of any sense of exploration, all the characters now look and act like faggy japanese emo's, etc.

The whole franchise has gone to shit over the last 15 years.

It's happened to me more than once where I buy a new game for $60, beat it or don't end up liking it, take it back a few days later to trade in while it's still in perfect condition...and they want to give me $8 for it.

The most gorgeous and ambitious game ever made. As long as they don't totally **** up the FPS mechanics, this is definitely the game with the best chance.

What's hilarious to me is how everyone blasts The Last of Us Remastered, yet they go fucking cuckoo for the Master Chief Collection or a port of GTA V.

The guarantee that Sony will support the PS4 until it's dying days and tons of great games are bound to be released over the next 6-7 years for it.
