Actually they are a little bent inside the cable. It must've came that way because I know I didn't force it in. Can I just straighten them out? Or do I need to get a replacement?

Okay, I have the old xbox without HDMI.. so I got the official Microsoft VGA cable to achieve near HDMI quality picture. I hooked it up to a 40-inch Sony Bravia S-Series 1080p hdtv. It worked fine the first time I tried it, but now it has greenish colored flickering lines going up and down the screen. I thought it might be the cable, but I hooked it up to my computer's monitor and it looked fine. Does anyone have a solution? I've went through all the tv's settings and nothing helps. I'm really hoping it's not something wrong with the tv.

Thanks for any help!
