Nintendo sure as hell didn't a get a free pass, they rightfully so got ripped on for focusing far too much on the casual gamer this gen, but to be fare look at the sales of the Wii, it worked for them. For me I just ignored the casual stuff, but I hated the way they dumbed down care games like Smash Bros and Mariokart this gen, ugh. Anyway Microsoft and Sony get ripped on going casual because they were the ones who wern't meant to be casual and were just shamelessly jumping on the casual band wagon.
Sounds like the best option. Vita's a much better piece of hardware with far better games...but you'll be trolled here so come prepared with officially sanctioned SDC jelly pics. :cool:ispeakfact

Anyway on topic. it sounds like just a dodgy 3DS unit, something that can be swiftly fixed by returning it to the store you bought it froma nd getting a new one. Although the face you're just writing off the whole console based on that and said you're gonna get a Vita now because of it makes me doubt the authnticity of this thread.. And if its just been made up as a shameless pro Vita thread, thats really quite sad. The Vitas merits should speak for themselves. Anyway a few years back I wish I had been smart enough to go straight back to the shop when I got a PSP and it had a dead pixel as soon as I took it out of the box! :|

I certainly hope there is a pack in game with the console, having Wii Sports packed in with the Wii was incredibly benificail. Then again I think in Japan it was actually sold seperatly.
I have an original 3DS, the XL sounds awesome but i don't think ill upgrade unless my original 3DS breaks or something. That being said I havnt had a hands on with the XL yet.
Someone explain the beef with TH and the Xbox controller! I played TH on Dremcast, PS, Gamecube, handhelds, Xbox, Xbox360, N64. The controllers all felt about the same. Played the hell outta THPS2x, 4, and THUG on Xbox and 3 on Gamecube and I wouldnt say the PS controller was any better at all.

The Xbox 360 controller is great, except for it's god awful D-pad, thats why I usually buy my fighting games for the PS3 instead and why Im gonna wait for Tony Hawks HD to come out on the PSN which @lensflare15 I think it should be the middle of this month? They siad 30 days after the XBLA release. I do agree though not having split screen multiplayer and create a character is ridiculous though. Can't beleive im going to say this but hopefully it'll be released as DLC :?
While this is cool and I'll download the patch at some point (unless its 9GB like one person said!? Any confirmartion on this??) the unbelivable and shameless fanboying in this thread, mainly by the tc, makes me almost not mon't to play mgs4 again :|
Many people in the competitive fighting community don't like it because it is so simplified and has an incredibly low skill ceiling.
I also think its kind of dumb how there are several characters that are utterly worthless and couldn't ever win in a competitve tournament (such as Jigglypuff)

Incredibly low low skill ceiling? Wow. Go and look up any mlg smash bros videos. Any Jigglypuff is actually one of the most rigged characters in the game, calling her utterly worthless shows you clearly don't play Smash Bros Meele propely.
I really enjoyed Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Sonic Heroes (all on the Gamecube for me) was fun but I didn't enjoy it as much, for me it was also the start of the decline for the series.
