Three -way tie between Monster Hunter Freedom Unite/MHP3, Persona 3 Portable and Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Sorry, can't pick just one, but all of thoses I have spent over a hundred hours each on them!

Just finished Persona 3 (my first time playing it; great game!) and ZHP: Unlosing Ranger vs Darkdeath Evilman ( a fun disgaea-roguelike). Currenly cyclying through the fist Disgaea, Phantom Brave: The Hurmuda Triangle and Tactics Ogre: LUCT..when I get stuck on one, I move to the other. My psp is getting the most use right now! Really looking forward to the PSVita!

1.) Pangya: Fantasy Golf 2.) Monster Hunter Freedom Unite 3.) Zettai Hero Project: Unlosing Ranger vs Darkdeath Evilman Pangya is STILL in my UMD drive (since it hasn't appeared on the PSN yet!), I still get together with friends and my husband to play Monster Hunter, and Zeta/Zettai Hero Project is probably my favorite psp rpg; it combines the humor of Disgaea (even allowing you to "dress up" like Laharl, with tough-as-nails gameplay of Shiren the Wanderer/other tough rougelikes. Honorable mentions: both Dissidia games, Burnout Legends, Tactics Ogre, Jeanne D'Arc, Disgaea, Phantom Brave (Yeah, I love me some Strategy-rpgs!)

[QUOTE="myst3rial"] I don't know if PixelJunk Shooter will be released on PSP. First of all, it probably has a very complicated physics engine and PSP has not enough computing power to run this game smoothly. Secondly, Monsters Deluxe was pirated and PixelJunk delcared not to release any other game on PSP (too bad..).

Huh. I thought Destructoid did a review on it..but it could have been released as a ps3 game/PSN game only, I'm not sure. I'm sorry the game was pirated; it stinks that people will steal games. I have friends and family with psps (some with quite eclectic tastes) so I can often try out a new game they get from the PSN to see if I"ll like it. [QUOTE="myst3rial"] By the way - have you tried Monsters Deluxe? This game is great! It's kind of logic/defence-type of game. It's real time and - it has ONLINE MULTIPLAYER! So you can always find a person to play few stages or collect "rainbows". It' cheap and definitely worth it. And by the way - Mahjongg is the best minis for now. Great relaxing game and - in comparsion with PC version (yes because of my Mahjongg all my family is addicted to it :) ) it's way better, you can shuffle (square button) anytime.

Yes! It was the first game I got on the PSN shortly after it launched! It's great fun, especially when you have folk that want to play with you online! I'm not very good at the game yet, but most of those I have played with understand this and are teaching me the ropes! Well worth the $20 in my opinion! I love Majongg the psp mini; but I am curious as to what the select button/big creepy eye does. I thought when it opened it showed you matches, but it doesn't do that.

Thanks for the reply Ston3y! I think control scheme 4 is going to be perfect for me, and I love the idea of tech trees and upgrading my units ..golly, I miss StarCraft! I think I will try it out and see. It's only six bucks. My other choices are Zombie Tycoon and Pixeljunk Shooter, but PJS isn't up on the PSN yet (supposed to be up today, so I may have to wait. And from what I have seen of Zombie Tycoon it looks like a blast! I just finished Jeanne D'Arc, and it was an awesome game! Currently playing lots of MHFU and the first Disgaea game since my foster-siblings have the games and are quite good at them. I'm enjoying myself a lot! It really makes a difference when you have friends who can help you upgrade your gear and weapons or show you the best way to beat that (word deleted) Kezu! Recently downloaded the Majongg psp mini..I LOVE Majongg and this version is quite pretty and controls well. Most of the games I am getting into I have had for a while, but it makes a difference when you have friends who can join you, you know? Sorry I haven't been online much. Very busy with my 2-year-old and am now almost 5 months pregnant with another! I'll be in and out though. Just gotta look for me.

..but not to RTS's in general. I'm an old-school Warcraft 2 and StarCraft player. Yet, I'm hearing some good thing about the C&C games. (My buddy, ston3henge has been raving about them) ..however, I've never played them, and am thinking of getting something to play in between Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Which C&C game should I get from the PSN? The first one? And how are the controls? Wouldn't a point-and-click RTS game be tough to control on the psp? Anyone playing these that can help me make up my mind? Thanks for your help.

I'm gonna go against the flow so far and say my 3 usual favorites (what? You expected only one?) 1.) Pangya: Fantasy Golf (my all-time favorite psp game! I have nearly 60 hors on it; rare for me to play a non-rpg so long!) 2.) Dissidia: Final Fantasy (this one is so fun to play and unlock things, so much to do..even if, like me, you are unfamilier with a good many of the characters until now! 3.) Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure (this one is such fun! It's an action-adventure with a "destroy all objects and enemies" mentaily as well as unlockable harder modes! I play this before bed if I can't sleep!) for also 3 great for quick pick up and play 1.) Half-Minute Hero (great game, good for bite-sized gameplay moments) 2.) PixelJunk Monster Deluxe (LOVE the online play!) 3.) Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (yes, still rocking it! Gonna try it with a druid or wizard when I beat it with my paladin!)
