The game was marketed around the extreme like of what was seen as the most 'bad ass' character of MW2, and thus created an entire game around this 'bad ass-ness'. However with Riley dead and MW finished they wanted to take the series in a completely new direction with a new story universe. This was never hidden from anyone.
Certain body armors can stop a 44 magnum bullet, or at least severely slow down its speed to the point of not being fatal. Still, it is far fetched.
The point of space based weapons platforms is to stop any indication of a launch, or at least severely cut down on reaction time, due to the weapons already being in space. ODIN is based on a theoretical weapons platform that doesn't actually use rockets, but instead uses giant tunguskan rods that would obliterate mass areas through sheer gravitational force alone.
In closing, it's a far fetched computer game, don't worry so much about it.
On another note, in what capacity did you work with nuclear weapons in the USAF? It's a topic I have extreme interest in.
Or it was the pinnacle of the series.
OP: What games DO you like?
There is no way in hell you are a 'veteran' battlefield player. You may of played them, but I seriously doubt you were ANY good at them, especially if you consider 'spray and pray' and heavy explosive use as a 'tactic'. 'Dynamic' maps have been a staple of the series since its inception, so why you think it'd be anything but is just amazing.
Honestly, just get out.
Hardcore DLC isn't an oxi-moron ( oxymoron? ). Regardless though, a more realistic wanted star system and a more realistic police force imo would be extremely interesting. If you're finding it difficult then that is fine, just don't play hardcore mode and you it won't feel cheap.
' Fans demand zombies after every GTA release and Rockstar never does it. There's a bit of hope seeing as how they did it for RDR,'
So they have done it before...
but I still don't think they will because they want to distance themselves from Saint's Row.'
Saints Row had zombies in it once, in a limited part of the map. It wasn't even the first to do it though in freeroam and with the way they've designed this game it would literally be perfect for a zombie DLC.
I'd also have to disagree with your dislike of GTA Vs characters, all of which I find extremely interesting. I also found GTA 4s storyline extremely interesting.
DLC which add the option of flying to new cities would be extremely interesting, but highly unlikely. Rockstar would be limiting themselves for future instalments. Unless the cities were smaller, less well known ones. San Diego would be interesting, but difficult in regard to finding something new to do.
-I want a zombie DLC. Either escape from L.S to the town in the north or try to get into the city to the airport from the north, ( may make for a better learning/difficulty curve having to break into the city ).
-An expanded fighting system to include a more advanced melee system with multiple fighting styles to learn and pick from. Including a dojo to learn moves and a fight club for both off and online.
-A casino pack. To include a single player set of missions that culminate in a heist and a new contact for multiplayer missions in a similar vein. The ability to bet both single player and online against other players in numerous games, most notably poker.
-A hardcore DLC. Limited weapons and a more difficult wanted system. Police A.I to be much tougher, and speeding laws etc to be in place.
I'd also like to see certain vehicles have more options in multiplayer. I want to be able to fill up a Titan full of people and open the back doors for people to jump out the back or drive a car inside. I want to be able to use transport trucks in a similar fashion to the single player, having people on bikes or a car able to drive up ramps into the back. I want heist missions similar in depth to those in the single player.
Also, in regard to multiplayer, I'd like for the voting options after a game to be revamped. This applies to actual contact missions. Instead of having to leave the lobby I'm in to ring a contact in order to start a new 1-4 or 1-6 player mission there should be options to go straight into them on the vote screen. Currently it mostly consists of team vs team vs A.I missions.
