[QUOTE="Razlses"]

Nope DSi is region locked, at least acording to IGN.

BrunoBRS

only for DSi-enhanced and DSi-exclusive games, like they stated on the article.

yeah i'm not really worried about the dsi-enhanced games at the moment. i do recall, however, that when i was in europe earlier this year, i had brought my ds lite and was trying to hop on wifi but i kept getting an error message. i don't remember what it said, but the ds was not happy about me trying to connect to wifi for some reason. i guess that's my main concern, i don't want it to be an issue being able to connect online, and i'm also a little worried about charging as well. i didn't have a problem charging my ds lite when i was there, but i keep hearing things about people having problems charging their US ds in europe, even with a converter or a usb charger. not sure why that would be, though.

hmm, so it seems like perhaps the wi-fi stuff would work ok in europe, but there may be an issue with playing european DSi-enhanced games on the US system because of the region-locked cartridges

If I buy a DSi here in the US and give it as a gift to someone in Europe (France, specifically), will they still be able to access all the Wi-fi stuff like the DSiware store, etc.?

I was recently playing World of Warcraft(which I usually run with around a steady 75fps) and had logged off for a few hours, when I logged back in a few hours later, my framerate had dropped to around 30-45 fps!  Now I didn't load or download anything to my computer within those few hours so I'm not sure what could have caused it.  I decided to test whether it was just WoW so I loaded up S.t.a.l.k.e.r. and tried to play that.  Same thing, where I should normally have around 75fps, I now have around 35fps.  WTF is going on?  BTW I have a Radeon x850 Platinum Edition 256(7.2 catalyst), P4 3ghz, 2gig memory.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
