Between games like Battlefield, Insurgency, and Squad to name a few, this has a lot of competition. I don't think it looks good enough to win out.

@livedreamplay: You disliking the game does not discount the millions have been enjoying this game for dozens of hours. I personally have 140 hours and am still not fatigued.

This isn't a game for everyone, I can definitely see that. But it executes its intended goal almost perfectly.

@bdiddytampa: I like that they were "overtextured", actually. It gave a better sense that mario is ecploring far beyond the Mushroom Kingdom and encountering all kinds of strange new worlds. The forest Kingdom might have gone too far with that, though. It reminded me of Nier: Automata actually...

@superklyph: I assume you dont because I didnt even know thar was an attack, and Ive been able to get every local coin I can see

@superklyph: I've been playing with the Joy-Con grips, and I haven't had much of a problem. The only motion attack that is both required and was very difficult to figure out how to use was the spin move, but once I figured it out I could get it consistently. The other motion based attacks are either easy enough to perform even with the grips, or were entirely unnecessary.

Having beelined to the credits and collected nearly 300 moons this weekend, and as someone who isn't really a fan of mario games, I can assure you that you are in fact wrong.
