If you got one cent from the publishers for writing this review, I hope you'll use it for your funeral. See that? Not saying you did.. but. ;)

@Mogan: @Mogan: Requesting proof for obvious things is stupid. The difference between the user score and the review score isn't enough? Or.. one look at the game isn't?

@k41m True, very true.. but if you pay, you have to get your money`s worth, right? And there is a thing about overcharging too.

I've been with ESO since the beta stages. Hell, I bet I was among the first to subscribe to their newsletter when they didn't even had screens posted.

Then ESO launched with their masterplan payment platform and the game. I'm not a cheap guy, I payed 80€ for a DIGITAL copy of the game. You don't have to be a brainiac to realize that 80€ for a digital (underlining digital) product for which you'll continue to pay monthly is way too much, but hey.. in my defense.. I am a ES fan. Even if I had bought the Imperial Edition, I still felt it was damn stupid to charge 25€ plus for basically nothing, but a small piece of locked content. I went on paying monthly to play the game. That, until 1 month ago. It wasn't worth neither my money nor my time anymore. Not going to get into details, but let's just say it was a group decision (about 20 players).

Listening to the ESO guy, saying how they want to build the best version of the game and that is why they were and still are milking.. excuse me.. charging people, is insulting. I truly believe that in the long run, ESO will lose. It will either become a totally failed MMO with a few addicts playing (a few not as in 10 people, but you get my point) or it'll become FTP with other ways of milking people for cash.

I'm not sad for paying for ESO. At least I tried it. Unlike some complaining people out there, I feel that having paid for the game and having paid monthly too play, gives me the right to mini-bash it now, when it hasn't proven it's worth. But hey, maybe I have my standards set too high.. or maybe I'm right. Time will tell.

The 'Bearded Man' ,as I like to call you in my comments, has done it again! While now I agree with your rating of Shadows of Mordor, your start of review is damn straight dumb. I mean, I expected this from non-thinking human beings (like many who already commented here), but you should know and be better. You work at GameSpot for God`s sake.

What I'm talking about you might think. Well it's pretty obvious. It is so ignorant to call this a copy of AC (even if you said it's been an inspiration). Why? Simple. Let's play a game. I'll say the name of one game, and you compare it with AC.

Ready? Here it goes! SPLINTER CELL!

And it's only ONE example of a very, very, VERY big "inspiration" source for the AC series. Sure, some might say that SplinterCell and AC are both under Ubisoft, but that doesn't make for a good excuse.

AT LEAST you (and these Uruks calling SoM a ripoff) should compare it with the original games, not the subsequent copies.

Other than that, I agree with you Bearded Man.. and that's a rare thing.

PS: And I do love the AC franchise! I'm just honest.. unlike many people.

Fifa 14 will have the same problem as ever. The lack of new additions in Leagues or at least "Rest of the World" teams will surely bring it down.

It's quite awful to see good teams that play on a year by year basis in UCL or Europa League and not having them in FIFA. They say that it's not their fault, that the teams (federations) aren't opened to negotiation, but I know for a fact that in some cases (like Romania`s Steaua Bucharest) it's purely bad intent or laziness.

I am not lobbying for any league or team, though it might seem that way. I just think it's a cretin move not to add AT LEAST the champions from each European league.

It's damn stupid.

@grnsuperman4 Like I said 100 times, you don't pay - you get around a rating of around 4.

This is why GameSpot will go down the crapper soon.
