It's pretty unfortunate that this game took the path that it did. After Assassins Creed, the series was positioned to be a huge franchise and a great story. Assassins Creed II was a great sequel, continued the sto... Read Full Review4 of 5 users found the following review helpful
Well, it's pretty much obvious at this point that when a new Modern Warfare game is coming out, it's going to be built upon the previous titles. MW3 is no exception. While not groundbreaking in any ways, there are som... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
I left a fairly critical review of NBA 2k11 last year. My main problem with 2k, and the 2k fans, is that they usually excuse a general lack of improvement due to other features being added. 2k is smart, they add enough n... Read Full Review0 of 2 users found the following review helpful
How this got an 8, I will never understand. Corny acting, a boring concept and bad driving. Waste of time.
I realize that a lot of people love Driver. I personally - remember the first one for PlayStation. That was a great game. Jump forward now, and it's been introduced that instead of swapping cars physically, you can "h... Read Full Review4 of 10 users found the following review helpful
What NHL 11 should have been - but nothing else to rock the boat. Goalies, unfortunately neglected again.
There's a few things in this game that are new, versus NHL 11. The main things I have noticed: You can run into goalies You can dislodge the net You can brake the glass You can check guys into the bench Shootin... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Updates: After playing this game a bit more, I wanted to add a few things. The AI pass defense is absurd. Especially on the harder difficulties, EA really dropped the ball on this one (PUN INTENDED) WR route running ... Read Full Review5 of 6 users found the following review helpful
First off, I gave this a 7.5 because I didn't feel compelled to give it anything higher. That doesn't mean it can't be a great game. It's really good. However, there is just something missing - and I don't really know... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Short and simple, this isn't a simulation. People who knock this game are looking for a simulation. Unfortunately, there aren't any sims with this kind of detail in terms of graphics. It sucks. I really wish my ve... Read Full Review2 of 3 users found the following review helpful
L.A. Noire almost solves the mystery of addictive video gaming, but doesn't totally satisfy the mystery fan's thirst.
L.A. Noire is a great game. I have always liked "open world" adventure games like this, and Mafia. I must admit, I also enjoyed Red Dead Redemption, but never got much into Grand Theft Auto. A disclaimer: The minute ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
I'm not even sure where to begin. This game misses nearly everything that even arcade games have established. I put in a decent chunk of time to play. You start out with 2 bikes, and 2 ATV's. You also get a small port... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Brink should be renamed "Brick" instead, because this game can't stand without some good 'ol mortar.
When this game was being hyped I never really got interested. I'm sick of first person shooters. Everyone is trying to get into the action, and they're boring. Now, that doesn't mean a well done FPS will get a bad vote j... Read Full Review2 of 5 users found the following review helpful
MLB 11 The Show absolutely blows all competition out of the water. Year after year, this series remains the best.
Let me begin by saying I do not own a PS3. I had, to this point, no desire to buy one. I have now changed my mind, due to both this game, and MLB.tv available on it. I used to play MLB 2k9 a lot. I was out of video g... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
This is the biggest scam of the year, more than likely. MLB 2k10 was repackaged, slightly tweaked, and released again.
MLB 2k10 did a lot of things well, but the fact that MLB 2k11 should have been simply a patch for 2k10 should show a lot. The things it did right. It has smoother graphics, similar to the increase in NBA 2k11 from 2k1... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Bad physics, cheap authenticity and an arcade approach make this middle of the road driving "sim" fall flat.
Let me first say that the reason I am so harsh on this game is because of the way it was marketed. When a company releases footage and makes a trailer that, in the TITLE, nonetheless, states that the game is packed with ... Read Full Review7 of 8 users found the following review helpful
I'm way late reviewing this but if you look around you can score this for like 6-7 dollars from a local store. Do it!
Okay, it's really sad when a game that was reviewed as a 5.9 and came out in 2006 is still the best flight sim on the Xbox 360. Supposedly there isn't a market for these games and that's why they are low budget, but this... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Let me begin by saying that I've played a lot of real life basketball. All of my review is based on how realistic and playable the game is, in relation to real life. I may be wrong, but I assume that buying a basketball ... Read Full Review6 of 6 users found the following review helpful
Tom Clancy's name is slandered in this recent release from Ubisoft, making me wonder, are sims on consoles dead?
If you played Hawx 1, you have an idea how Hawx 2 will play. This game uses the company Geoeye, a sat mapping company and for the most part, the terrain is great from the air. When you get down close, it's really bad, bu... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Codemasters nailed their first attempt at the F1 series with astounding detail and good playability.
This game is awesome. You have to remember, it's the first in the series, and it's a console game. That said, it has surprising depth. Short, medium or long career modes in which you answer questions in a press confe... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
For those who can remember, Medal of Honor was remarkable. Especially on the PC, when the first game was launched years back, storming the beach on D-Day was epic, reminding you of Saving Private Ryan, with great sound, ... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
