@LukeWesty I understand, but I'm just pointing out that I have had no problem paying for Xbox Live since 2005. I'm sure there are others like me, and then I'm sure there are others who hate the subscription. But personally, I have never had a problem. I will cherish all those years of Halo 2 online for the rest of my life. Would have never been able to have done that if I didn't have Xbox Live Gold.

@LukeWesty Not doing the conversion, I have $480 over the 8 years (but like I said, it was $50 annually up until just two years ago or so). $480 is nowhere near $700... and all of my other points still stand.

@LukeWesty I'd like to know how you came up with that (unless you are just bad at math?). Don't forget the yearly subscription was $50, and only went up as of a few years ago. So let's take for example, $50 a year from 2005-2010; that's $300. Then let's say it raised from the $50 to $60 in 2011 (honestly, I don't remember when it was). So that's $60 for 2011, 12, and 13. So I'm at a rough estimate of $480, spread out over an 8 year period...

I make more than that in one two-week check. So considering all of the entertainment I've gotten since 2005, it is definitely worth it. You're seriously complaining about a $5 a month subscription, when most fast food places nowadays cost more than that for one meal.

@TheSorrow66666 @shingui5 @Tyek_1230 Because most of the comments I happen to see in these Xbox topics are people having a hard-on for Sony, and bashing the Xbox/Microsoft.

@Duninn2013 @LukeWesty He's just taking a jab at the Xbox Live Gold subscription cost. Money well spent, and has been ever since 2005.

People thinking the Next Xbox was going to require constant internet connection: "Stupid console. Not buying it. Microsoft sucks."

People after finding out the Next Xbox isn't going to require internet connection: "Stupid console. Not buying it. Microsoft sucks."

I rarely comment on these, but the amount of blatant trolls I've seen in these topics is ridiculous. We get it, most of you (or at least the most vocal ones?) love Sony. Congratulations. Go buy/enjoy your PS4 and leave us to enjoy our Xbox 720.

And LOL to the people who say the PS4 is staying true to games, while the Xbox is an "entertainment center with Kinect". The PS4 has PS Move, and access to Netflix and most of the other programs the Xbox has access to. So get over yourselves.

I happen to own both an Xbox 360 and a PS3; have so for many years now. The only reason I prefer my 360 over the PS3 is because I have more real-life friends who own an Xbox over a PS, so I prefer to get games for that in case we decide to play each other over Xbox Live. Also, I've always preferred the achievement system over the trophies.

I threw Playstation Network a bone though back in 2010, when I bought Black Ops for it. For an entire month, I played Black Ops on the PS3, and just about every other game was laggy to the point where it ruined the game, and had random disconnects. Whereas I've had Xbox Live since 2005 (on the original Xbox even), and have never had any serious issues with connection. After that month, I bought Black Ops for the 360, and have not touched Playstation Network since.

I bought the game day one, and absolutely love it. I never had any problems or errors logging in (with the exception of the first day, but oh well), never had problems with disconnects or connection issues period, and have had no problem in regards of getting hacked and losing all mt stuff. Guess I am a part of the 1% of gamers who have had a flawless Diablo 3 experience though, based on a lot of the hate I've seen.

I've had an authenticator for years now, and nothing has happened to my account at all. I am having a blast with the game, too. Such a shame to see this stuff happening to other people though.

The only thing I'm waiting for, and the only thing I want right now, are PS1 CLASSICS! It's so wrong that I prefer to take my old PSP with me, instead of my Vita, because of my large collection of PS1 Classics I still don't have access to for the Vita...
