Its a weird glitch unfortunately it does this from time to time if you restart the event sometimes it helps I know I was racing the F12 or 458 and had me racing a unit of Mustangs that where really smoking me on that race, the AI cranked up 10, then I restarted and it was variety of exotics which I expected with the heat lvl car I was using it'll worked itself out.

@PayneKiller: I all you have do is revisit the speedlist on the assignment tree, choose every alternate list than you choose your first run thru to get, the patrol and undercover vers. unlocked, as far pursuit tech I think it goes all the way to 4 or 5 it is not player rank driven its by the car so certain cars only go to level 2 and there done, some go to lvl 3 or lvl4 most of the fastest late unlocks on each side have the most powerful pursuit tech, Once Again there no Tier System in Rivals but if you pay close attention there is, the starter cars, midlist cars, mostly have less goodies than the top 4 or five.

@postbox: I'm pretty sure we don't agree, I love Rivals and Hated Hot Pursuit, and let me tell ya I spent alot of time on Hot Pursuit trying to figure out what went wrong with my early childhood favorite from the Excellent Hot Pursuit 2 on PS2 to 2010's vers, I finally came to the conclusion it was Criterion it looked ok for remake but the handling was completely off and made some cars completely useless outside just for looks variety, which proves they should have stuck to burnout where car stats, selection, and balance among classes are irrelevant.

Kudos! to ghost/ ex-crapterion devs they fixed it this time around every car is useful for certain areas of the map & certain matchups unlike before, all the cars handle different but aren't broken as before drifting is optional on a lot cars, so you'll have to find alternate methods to regenerate your nos like slip streaming, hitting your lines/missing traffic, when you wreck on rivals if you get your car down you know its your fault, not the driving engine's steering lag and response, as before to accommodate the incessant wrecks, crashes, and drifting paramount in the burnout games of old. Its silky smooth steering, if your stuck in a groove if you do begin to drift the much improved steering response gives a far greater opportunity to pull out of it especially if you've upgraded your controls on the racer side.

Frostbite 3 is Beautiful Across world with dust storms, lightning, night, day, dusk, dawn, overcast, rain, and snow. The only issues are the environmental glitches/ rendering(freezes/crashes) which will hopefully be patched just like BF4!, but far as hooking up with ppl online when they drop in your room I usually chase down racers by guessing where they're going on the map to hook up and do pursuits or chase down racers just starting out the campaign. most ppl have mics on 360, if they make a shout as to what they wanna do most will join racers/or cops its different way of doing it than we're use to but ppl will eventually adjust to it just like that infernal Autolog.

@shadomasta:

pretty good summation the drifting is so effortless in this game basically does it for you once you brake they really can't make it easier, the e-brake is kinda funky it has many permutations during use per situation it doesn't always pull perfect 180 and can/will through out of control if you stand on it too long unlike 2012 most wanted e-brake vs Hot Pursuit 2010's its super quick @ highspeeds but you definitely need use it judiciously in coordination with the regular brake or throttle @ times.....

@ALLoY1717: Yeah, not Really Much Can be Done bout the Cameras, this is Crapterian to a certain extent, fun above all else wrecking included. They can't be bothered about bonnet cams/ cockpit views, but I've adjusted to there lack of detail in this respect thats just not a priority with these era need for speeds. Besides, there so much going on outside the car in an intense car chase or battle thats where your focus should be, but from what I've seen the addition of customization features goes along way to add a sense of identity and uniqueness over most wanted and definitely! Hot Pursuit! when your playing with your buds you get a sense of identity/distinction with your load out of pursuit tech, license plate, vinyl, and car type uncover looks extremely sick + and stat differences between enforcer, patrol, and uncover give a unique feel for the same car for battle. sorry if you feel that way some ppl are so fickle now-adays. The handling, is the deal breaker for me tho, I've heard its handles more like Most Wanted than Hot Pursuit Now! so hopefully it'll turn well on current gen.

You Need Help, You do know you can play offine Right? change your settings so it won't be as problematic switch back to online when your ready for that its just making it more confusing, u do not have to drive to same home all the time just use easy drive to set a route to the closest one, same with the races and other objectives basically you can jump to any place on the map or drive there unlike hot pursuit. @ some points in the game in switching between cop/racer careers your hideout or command center will automatically switch you in to the appropriate type of car for the event which can also be Disorienting .... Good Luck!

[QUOTE="Nikosnik123"]I've played racing games for the past 15 years or more now I am 45 years something give me a break . Who. Heard of a racing game that. Is always in rainy weather.Frag_Maniac

It's not that it's always rainy weather, the sky and pavement usually look dry. It's just that they put this idiotic road spray effect in just to make visibility a challenge, which is a horribly contrived gimmick.

alot like the lighting effect(Dawn or Dusk) of the original most wanted its only asthetic much like the few rainy tracks in hot pursuit its not like it had an actual effect on gameplay ala PGR 4

This game sucks, metacritic confirms it. Critics were payed to give this game a good review but the average gamer knows the game stinks something terrible.

blastmaster2k2

I still agree with you guys but after having my game since monday without opening it and playing a (rental) I've come to realization it does not suck is as bad as NFS HP2010, due to the improvment in the weight feedback\responsiveness of cars, and subtle adjustment to responsiveness in steering that can be had when some cars "modded" properly in most wanted 2012 vs hot pursuit, its not drastic improvement, but just enough for me to have some fun driving circles around the police(Challenger 392, Boss302) after I came to terms with the horrendous dead zone after moding out my muscle cars there of actual use in most wanted, whereas in HP2012 they where absolutely useless unless you where cop, another weird thing I discovered with Most Wanted vs 2012 some cars on here really not ment for long drifts or excessant drifting they ctrl so well, cut corners so fast, its a waste to force drifts after moding unless you really need to build up your NOS METER.

Haha, wow. Either the reviewer didn't play it at all and based his review on other reviews or he barely even touched the game, because he references the Hummer H1 even though that vehicle was removed from both the retail and review copies of the game. Some real journalistic integrity here.

whats weird about that I wouldn't completely count the H1 making an apperence in this game? they six online exclusive cars the dodge charger srt-8 which I go thru slimjim website, and rumoured jeep-cherokee ST8 which I'm a fan of but much like Forza and the like I feel off road SUV's have no place in road based racer but since they add to crashing/wreckin and different types of gameplay whatever but knowing EA if they licensed and removed it it will be DLC carrot for all those who wanna reak havok on all the self respecting clean racers, LOL or clean as you can be on this burnout game..... nice jab tho

It got what it deserved, (gamepsot is one the few that didn't overrate it) I think except for the "Good" under the title the graphics are great, fps are great, if its actually running consistently @60fps on consoles, as much despise what crapterian's doing to need for speed I can't take those technical things away from them, the horrid steerin controls, incessant focus on wreckin/crashin, drifting, instead of actually racing. I'll rip um all day on that, I just wish they would have let kevin review the game, who properly ripped um for what did to our "Most Wanted" you might like this review better this reviewer mentions some problems with the fundamentals of criterion games that we all been thinkin just no body in the media has had the balls to say watch the review/listen don't read it
