Yeah,

I can bring back painful memories for anyone with this Platinum Trophy!

Infamous 1: SHARD COLLECTING!

Motherf***ing trophy drove me nuts.

A couple of others kicked my ass for a while too.

Demolition 2.0 kills in Battlefield:Bad Company 2

Aerial Predator from Darksiders took me like 100 attempts. Rage Inducing!

Far Cry 2 is a free download this week at least in the UK it is, I'm pretty sure the US got it too. RDR for free would be very cool, but I can't see it happening, like EVER

so guys am new with all the PSN stuf..and i have a question..i dont have a PSN in my country as i live in egypt..so i made a UK account because most of the games here are region 2..can i buy from the PSN via Credit card.I mean an egyptian credit card not a UK one??

NOMAD_78

My understanding is that the PSN won't let you buy on a card that isn't from the country your PSN (SEN?) account is on.

IE.

My US account won't allow me to purchase PSN fun bucks with my UK credit card.

And lying about the address the card is registered didn't work for me either.

Give it a try, the worst that can happen is it fails.

If it does, off to ebay for UK PSN cards my friend.

If you go the route of the PSN cards, I would recommend shopto.net, they do digital codes that are mailed to you, and it's cheaper than the actual worth of the card (eg. £35 card for £33)

Hope this helps mate

I love Call of Duty

I have since the first, and I will continue to buy them

HOWEVER!

I do NOT like the Multiplayer.

I don't like the yearly "updae" to the MP, but everytime a real innovation is brought in *cough* Wager Matches *cough* it is completely ignored by the majority of the community.

Yes, I prefere the team based online gameplay of games like battlefield, but I do try everything and CoD's MP just isn't my thing.

......

I love the stories of MOST of the Call of Duty games, and MW3 was a great (albeit, short) story that wrapped up Price, Soap (SOOOOOAP!) and Makarov nicely

I loved Black Ops' story too, and I'm really hoping it comes out this year, but I will do the same as I have done with every CoD game since CoD4. Buy it, finish SP Campaign on Veteran, try MP, not like it, Either ebay it or trade it in (MW3 was traded in for Saint's Row III, which I LOVED)
The only Call of Duty game I still have, is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Because I don't believe you are allowed to call yourself a gamer unless it is in your collection :D

The online pass is actually a small DLC. Like any other DLC it is valid for all users on the system, no matter which one is the owner and what region the account is registered at. No problems for you.Reptylus

Beautiful.

Thanks my friend. You just made my day

So,

Seeing as the EU got scre4wed once again and we are getting a cut down, censored and delayed version of Twisted Metal, I am importing a copy from the states.

While I am pretty sure that the pass itself will need to be redeemed on my US PSN account, my question is, will that allow me online with my EU account on the same machine?

I don't mind if I have to get an online pass, but obviously I won't be able to until March when the game finally comes out in the UK.

I was just curious if anyone had tried it.

Assuming the info on the save file says "Nightmare", when you carry on from there, you'll be fine

If it says easy before you load it up, you'll need to go to a previous save.

You can't change difficulty during play for the achievement. So if you changed the difficulty AFTER the save, you're fine!

Hope this helps

I learned that lesson a few years ago.

Snuck out of work in my break to pick up Infamous on release day, and it was whispering at me from my bag to play sick and go home!

Never again! I have never had a day drag so much.

...................

As for the servers, I remember this exact same thing happening with Bad company 2 on release.

The servers were so bad the game was unplayable for the first few days!

Luckily, I'm busy all weekend, so in my week off work next week, by the time I have finished the (pretty crap so far) single player, the servers will be running fine!

Yeah, I was having those issues.

Although it showed me as signed in, it couldnt find the battlefield servers to play or even to check my online pass!

A restart of the PS3 just ended with me not being able to sign in at all.

Seems alot of people don't actually understand my issue.

I don't care if EA said we would get a free copy of the greatest game ever made, or the worst piece of crap to grace the PS3.

My issue is that we, as PS3 owners, were told we would get a free game on the disc with our purchase of battlefield 3

Instead, with absolutely no notification from EA, it was removed from the disc and we are offered Paid DLC early in lieu.

so, intead of having a free game, whether it's good or not, we are handed to privilige to pay for stuff from EA FIRST!

While I understand that LE owners will get some DLC for free, then the next big add-on comes out (If we get one similar to vietnam - AND NO, I DON'T MEAN A VIETNAM ADD-ON, it's just an example) will that be free? for anyone? No. But good news, if you want it, you can pay for it before anyone that doesn't own a PS3
