Everytime I play JRPG that goes into seperate battle screen, I just wish for random encounters instead of those major B.S on field encounter where most of them aren't set to be avoidable, but makes you THINK you can, and they catch you from behind for ambush.

Not to mention grinding gets extra difficult without any good reason thanks to mobs on the field.

**** that, give me back my random encounters.

From what I hear on hotspot, it sounds like the difference is loading time.

360 seems to have significantly longer load time than PS3 version.

Well I have some minor complaints.

Why does it seem like just about all 3D WRPGs have horrible frame-rate, fugly looking animations, and clunky controls? I haven't really played Mass Effect, so I can't say all 3D WRPGs are like this (Mass Effect looked smooth from videos, but who knows how the actual game is?), but in general that's my view towards entire genre. At least from my personal experiance.

It's really minor thing, so I can't complain about it too much, but it's a minor thing that's ALWAYS there. Throughout the entire game, it just ruins it for me.

and dress in the game look really weird. It has really odd skin tight skirt thing that just looks so wrong.

Well other than that, I'm having a good time. No plans to get DLC though. If Dragon Age makes complete version 2 years later that includes all DLC, I might get that but I just don't like the idea of DLC so I'll pass on that.

Maybe it's cultural thing, but when Yuna and Tidus sort of hooked up, it felt quite natural to me. There were more than enough between them to make that happen.

Here's few things few FF fans might've not liked about FFX.

- The restricted and linear path. FF fans are used to linear gameplay, but at least it was disguised well with the world map. FFX was just straight up linear.

- Completely turn based gameplay. Except for early FF games, FF franchise is mostly known for ATB system. Turn based gameplay that is linked with real time decision making. Absence of the real time aspect kind of made FFX feel too different from the FF franchise fans expected.

- First FF game to have a voice acting, and it wasn't top notch (especially Yuna, her voice actress sucked)

Both games were a step short of being likable to me.

Like all gust games, it has generic set up with generic character personalities, but with neat gameplay ideas.

Hope 3rd time is the charm. I loved all the innuendos.
