Looking for the best video card I can get for around $130. I'd prefer an Nvidia card, but I can deal with an ATI as well. I was set on an Asus GTX550, but it sold out.
After fighting endless troubles with my Radeon HD 4870 and a bad BIOS flash to the card I'm ready to just junk the thing and get a new card.
Right now I have the following:
Gigabyte UDR3R P45 Intel
Intel E8400 Wolfdale at 3.6GHz
8GB OCZ Reaper PC2 8500
I'm going to be upgrading in the future so I'm not afraid to get something a little overkill, but I'm looking for something less than $200 that will work in this system and possibly with a new Mobo/Core i7 sometime in the next year. The only stipulation is I am NOT excited about buying another Sapphire card.
I know i am for sure, i love Bill Gates, i love Microsoft.

You get absolutely NOTHING from brand loyalty for any reason. I play games because they are good, not because someone specific made them. I'd ditch the fanboy attitude in favor of a more well rounded perspective. (I play PC, 360, Wii, PS3)
I have the Razer Carcharias and I really like it a lot. Great sound quality, comfortable, adjustable. I think technically the Roccat Kave are probably nicer, but they are significantly more expensive. It all comes down to how much you're willing to pay.
I called Microsoft and they refused to send me a new console (only a refurb) or replace the disk that was ruined by the drive.

Yeah, because you dealt with it incorrectly
If the item is still under the return window from whatever store you bought it from you return it there, I have no idea why you'd bother Microsoft with something that wasn't their problem to deal with.
Your job was to contact Amazon and report both problems and find the resolution there
Not too sure why you didn't do that, was there a reason you didn't?
That is what I ended up doing. But Amazon has no reason to replace the faulty disk and wont do that either. That is the only reason I contacted Microsoft, since it was their faulty hardware that ruined my disk. I may try to get Amazon to pony up a replacement disk.
