Bottom line - If you liked DS1 you'll love this one. It was a great ride with an ending, well, you've got to see.
I loved the first play through on this game and am in the second. It has all the elements I liked in the first with great new twists to spice things up. As all the reviews mention the lighting and sound are outsta... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
All of the fun of the other Halo offerings with none of the Flood.
Let me start off with one of the things that I'm enjoying the most: No freaking Flood! I don't know about other folks but I've enjoyed fighting the Covenant without the magical introduction of the pain-in-the-butt Flood... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
What were they thinking?
I'll try to avoid any spoilers if I can. Bottom line for me: good solid firefights but the storyline left me yawning. I'm sorry guys, but Alma was scarier in the other sequels. Here she appears all over the place an... Read Full Review0 of 2 users found the following review helpful
It's like a very young scotch, a bit rough at first and then it grows on you.<br />

I've played it through twice now and I must say that I think that it's worth every penny (although I'd stay away from the metal-box version, the pewter figures are so-so). I like the story line and knowing a little of... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Not the same old FPS...
This game is a bear and a half, both in hardware requirements and in game play. This game strongly resembles training scenarios for the US Military. As such, there aren't any magic health packs and be warned, it does... Read Full Review3 of 5 users found the following review helpful
I think that Alex has fallen into the "if it doesn't shatter the genre then it's no good" trap.
I found it to be a quite charming game to play. Granted it didn't bring some totally new something to the genre, but then I don't think that its creators had that in mind. Too many reviewers dismiss games like this if ... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
It's DOOM stupid...
I just have to voice my frustration with reviewers that are whining that DOOM3 is "just a remake" of the original DOOM. They go on to complain that it doesn't do anything to expand the genre and plays like the original ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
