I think Gamespot's score of 8.0 is fair, but I also believe you'd give it an 8.0 if you had absolutely no experience with the Dragon Age Universe. If you're like me and loved the first Dragon Age game and all its expans... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful

I hate to break out the World of Warcraft comparisons, but this game obviously has a lot of the same polish and ease.
I'll preface this by saying I'm playing the PS3 version, not the PC version. We can debate all day and night about anti-aliasing and what makes graphics better on either system, but I'll give it to you in a nutshell. Wh... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
With all due respect to Gamespot, I think they really blew it on this one. This game is almost as fun as God of War.
Maybe it's my own prejudice because I genuinely dig comic book superheroes and any game that brings out the best in them will always keep me captivated. Maybe it was the reviewer who passed this off as another half-hear... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
At a release price of ten bucks, this might be one of the all-time value purchases. It reminds me of Serious Sam, another game that you could spend hours and hours playing, yet spend very little money to enjoy it right ... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
It's amazing that with only 2 versus maps and 4 co-op maps online, this game is STILL highly addictive!
Look... str8 up, it's a crime that this game wasn't given more accolades. While I have yet to play through MGS4, GTA4, and other highly acclaimed games of 2008 again, I'm STILL playing Left 4 Dead every other day. It's... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Left 4 Dead
I'm a fan of most Bioware RPGs all the way back to Baldur's Gate. Baldur's Gate 2 and Star Wars KOTOR 1 are still two of my favorite RPGs of all-time. It was with much anticipation that I purchased Jade Empire. What's... Read Full Review3 of 5 users found the following review helpful
The only GTA that deserved a perfect 10 was the first 3-D entry in the series. This is a great game, but not a 10.
Why would the very first GTA to use a 3-D engine (GTA3) not receive a perfect 10 but this one did? It's really more of the same with refined gameplay. Sure, there are HDTV quality graphics and a new online mode, but di... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Gothic 3 isn't easy. It requires numerous reloads. It doesn't hold your hand. There is no large tutorial level although this version certainly gives more tips than previous games in the beginning. The world is large a... Read Full Review5 of 5 users found the following review helpful
Call me a "casual gamer" but I preferred the sequel's ease of play and new RTS aspects over the first game.
So the first Black & White was definitely a unique game. No one can hype a game like Peter Molyneux. B&W1 has to be one of the most anticipated PC games I've ever played. People built their lives around that game, expe... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Mini-games, mini-games, and did I mention... more mini-games? Civilization this is not. More like Mario Party.
I noticed a lot of player reviews downgraded this game because they said it reminded them too much of the classic it was based on and didn't add enough new gameplay. Maybe that should have been a warning for me: Never t... Read Full Review1 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Fun but overrated because of lousy scripting in singleplayer and online play that feels too much like Medal of Honor.
If you have never played a WWII first-person shooter, then you're probably in for a treat, but for the rest of us who aren't shooter newbies, this has more of a been there, done that feel to it, rather than any sense tha... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful
