I used to rock Dual monitors all the time a while back and it was easy as hell but ever since I bought a new tv and switched to w7 (same time) I cant seem to get dual monitors to work anymore.

I don't know what causes it, each screen works fine individually, and if I have my monitor plugged in and then plug in my tv and scan for new displays my tv takes over and the monitor becomes blank.
So I can't have both displays running at once anymore and it just refuses to recognise both.

My tv is hooked up with a vga cable and my monitor is hooked up via HDMI, is this the problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry but there's no way in hell you're getting your ps3 back before christmass. It took them a full month to return mine and that was counting from the day I sent it off to them. It'll take them longer just cause it's a 60gb, which they don't have a lot of anymore and then it will probably take them even longer because it's christmass. Sorry man, tell me how it goes.

Well I can't check the temps as I can't get past the desktop without the computer going "poot". As for dust, I just cleaned out my comp thoroughly less than 4 months ago. I'm beginning to worry that the GPU fan has simply ceased to function altogether.Rottenberry

simple way to test if it's overheating is just open your case and put a normal cheap room fan next to it and let it run that way. It should be able to dissipate all the extra heat that way.

Also I'm pretty sure the RAdeon catalyst has a temperature bar in it that tells what temp your gfx card is running on.
My Radeon used to overheat but after a while of running it case open I just bought a different gpu fan and worked fine ever since.

Both games are great, but I'd have to give the edge to fallout.

This is mainly because I love the ability to make choices in a game and have NPC's react to my actions. Oblivion does not do choices in the same sense as falout does. I also love the atmosphere of Falout with the old 20's music and all.

That said, Oblivion is surely a game worth your time, especially considering you can probably get it dirt cheap now. I have recently started playing FO3 again, thinking the expansions were out for the ps3 already, haven't seen them anywhere yet though, after beating that I'mgoing to play Oblivion again.
