Why, I say? Why must so many good games be released in the month of my birth, November? If I were to buy all of the games I want, it would cost me almost £300! Unbelievable. As a student, I am (of course) on a tighter budget than usual. I am sure you all have felt thi way at some point, but I digress.
Firstly, my wishlist for November:
Ones I'm getting: Modern Warfare 3
Assassins Creed: Revelations
Need For Speed: The Run
Ones I've had to cancel preorder: Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection
Ones that were not on my preorder list (purely due to budget): Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Saints Row: The Third
Secondly, my point: Games cost too much these days, and even if this isn't the case, they release too many games in a short amount of time. This severely annoys me and I'm sure several other students feel the same way.
Finally, my question: What are we going to do about it?
Quote of the day, and see if you can relate it to this blog: 'Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.'- Theodore Roosevelt
(Ironically, we are the ones who live in the gray twilight, so lets do something about this.)
