If you purchase the season pass, will you get the Mechromancer DLC? I haven't bought the season pass yet, but plan to in the future as I will most certainly want all the expansions for this game. If you get the Mechromancer DLC with the season pass, I will purchase the pass much earleir then planned. Thanks!

I don't agree with Kevin, based on my experience with the game. It is his opinion, if that is what the guy truly felt about the game (and it is not because capcom didn't pay gamespot off) then he is free to write about it and score the game a 4.5.

I am 5 hours into the game now, and I agree with you TC. I am a huge RE fanboy, when I say the review from gamespot today I was concerned, but then saw more positive reviews on other sites so felt better about picking the game up today.

I completely agree that the combat is very smooth, I really have enjoyed the corresponding control scheme.

I will focus on two things I was worrying about: camera AND QTEs

Regarding the camera, there have been a few annoying fixed positions but outside of that the camera has not affected my gameplay 5 hours in.

QTEs are a little too abundant but they don't break up the action nearly as bad as the gamespot review suggests in my opinion.

One other thing I have noticed is melee seems a little over-powered. I am not complaining as I have been able to conserve ammo because I can rely on melee much more then previous RE games, but it does add a slightly different element gameplay wise to RE I hadn't really experienced in any previous games. The "every bullet counts" feel to the game is diminished. Again I don't feel this is necessarily a bad thing, just different compared to previous game.

So far I am enjoying my experience, can't wait to sink some more time into the game tomorrow.

While its tough for me to recommend anything without actually completing it, RE fans I would not worry about this being a 'terrible" game as the gamespot review suggests. Check the gametrailers review out as it is at the other end of the spectrum

I have played the game now for about 4 to 5 hours and based on my experience with the game, he has over exaggerated alot of the faults in this game, including the cutscences, QTEs, camera etc.

I will admit I have had some issues with the camera, nothing game breaking at all, just a little annoying. Also there have been a few instances where I wasn't a fan of the placement of at QTE. Outside of those two issues I have really enjoyed my experience so  far.

in my opinon the 4.5 score he gave RE6 is ridiculous. I feel 4.5 means broken, almost unplayable, terrible in regard to the gameplay. None of that exists in RE6, at least 5 hours into the game. Has it been a flawless execution like RE4 no, but I have enjoyed this better then RE5 so far.

And regarding the comment about kevin havong something against capcom games, I have noticed this as well.

I had the same issue so don't feel dumb at all. The menus system/connected career system is the definition of joke.

You have to select/start a connected career as the coach of your favorite team to essentially play what used to be called franchise mode.

Annoying and obviously not presented in a simple fashion like every other game in the series

After messing around with all of the options in connected career mode, I finally figured out how to play as just a franchise (select coach) etc.

You can call me an idoit, but seriously things are very confusing and not presented in a simple manner. I really wish they kept the modes seperated as thay have in previous version.

Also the XP system just seems pointless. By the time a player actually gains enough XP to meaningfully improve their rating/play on field, they will have retired. The XP idea adds a nice touch to the game, but unfortunately its just not implemented in a way that if actually has an affect in the game.

Target was running a promotion on the vita when I bought it 2 weeks ago, you got uncharted and a 4gb memory card with the system for free.

I just beat the game yesterday, and while it was fun, it really is tough to justify the $49.99 price. Pretty steep for a vita game. Its a solid game, but there isn't a whole lot of replay with it. I'll run through the game a 2nd time on a higher difficulty, but thats about it.

Graphics, sound and controls are all excellent while the gamplay is above average, but not particularly strong.

If purchased my Vita 2 weeks ago. Target was running a promotion that if you bought the Vita, you got Uncharted and a 4 gb memory card for free with the purchase. I had planned on waiting but decided to purchase it when I saw this deal.

Overally its an amazing piece of hardware from the tech side, I've enjoyed my experience so far. My concern is the game library at the moment, how much to expect to play the Vita in the short term? I picked up Wipeout (19.99 at walmart), Hot Shots Golf (19.99 at walmart) and Unit 13 since my purchase. I only play the system a few times a week so at the rate I'm playing at, it will be awhile before I play through and complete these games. That should lead me into the fall where a bunch of new games will be released. So the library isn't a huge issue for me at themoment.

But as everyone mentioned, we'll likely see a price drop or bundle between now and Xmas, I would wait until then, unless you see a promotion like the one I caught at target.

I think in the near future, you will see more deals at stores when you purchase a Vita. Last week Target included a 4 gb memory card and Uncharted for free with the purchase of Vita (I took advantage of this deal!)

I don't think you'll see a pirce drop until 4th quarter of this year.
