Still Alive

It's been about 5 months since I played a video game. My life has been good. I've been just playing guitar and trying to survive school. If anyone actually reads this, leave a comment and I probably won't see it until an other long while. Refrigerator!!!

Super Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii U

Hey guys, I'm finally on summer break (hallelujer!) and nintendo just released the new SSB trailers! I don't know if anyone else has seen the trailers yet, but if you haven't, watch them IMMEDIATELY! These trailers were the spark that reignited my interest in video games! I can't wait!!! I have a 3DS and I plan to pre order the game ASAP. I am considering buying a Wii U for the console version too, because according to the laws of science, console versions are always better. So far, everything that has been announced has been awesome! I am hoping that customizable character (preferably Miis) will be one of the game's many features. Although in the ancient times of 2011, someone wrote in a gamefaqs forum that "If they let us use Miis as characters, everyone is just going to use Chuck Norris and Michael Jackson!" And that is why I want Miis. Anyone else excited? And does anyone think I should stick with the 3DS, or buy a Wii U? (Maybe do both?)

Hello GS, I have not been on recently and just pop in every other week. Well the reason why is because I am entering a new chapter of life. I haven't been playing video games recently. The last time I played was about two months ago. I have consoles and all that, but I just don't get the desire to play anymore. I have recently just been playing guitar all day, which is actually really good, because I want to pursue a career as a musician. I play guitar over 3 hours a day, and I am busy during the other parts of my day. So sadly I may be leaving GS soon. not yet, but soon. I won't leave without saying goodbye, so don't worry. This is hard to explain to my fellow gamers, but this is just what has happened in my life.

What's the world coming to?

Hi I am back but am not talking about music or personal things. Recently there has been many things going wrong in the world we live in. Two specific things stood out to me, which both have to do with epic heroic bearded men. As in any list with bearded men, Chuck Norris has to be included. Well recently, he shaved his beard. Yes, I said it, he shaved. I felt like crying inside when I found this out. He was spotted in Hawaii without his bullet proof, crime fighting, awesome looking, iconic sidekick. Some theories state that his beard is currently defending an other galaxy while Chuck is still here. Let us not be discouraged by this though, because HE IS CHUCK NORRIS!!! He still has all my respect and is still awesome. People say he looks old now, but he doesn't age, he levels up. ;) Moving on. Secondly and lastly, The voice of Solid Snake/Big Boss, David Hayter is not going to be voicing Snake in today's announced Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Hayter tweeted "At least I had a good run." and when he was asked about voicing Snake again, he simply replied, "Nope". I think this has slightly damaged my interest in the new game. Metal Gear is my favorite non-Nintendo franchise out there. Snake will never be the same. Hideo Kojima has said that he will do an interview about why he has not chosen David for the job. WE NEED YOU DAVID HAYTER!!! Here is the article so you can see for yourself. Anyways, it feels good to get some feelings out. What do you guys think about these disasters? I hope these problems are fixed soon (Chuck can do what he wants, but Snakes voice is a big part of what makes him so awesome.)

Better Anime Sounding Song

I think this would fit an anime more than the dream asylum song. Sydänpuu: Mustaan Uneen It is sung in Finnish and all the singing/instruments (except for the drums) are done by ex-Sonata Arctica guitarist, Jani Liimatainen!

This Song Reminds Me of...

This song reminds me of some sort of anime song. I think it would also fit in a Sonic game. What do you guys think?

Fire Emblem: Awakening

Hey guys, I am back for another post. Yes, this is a review but I am not actually posting it in the reviews for the game because of word limits and other reasons. So i bought this game about two weeks ago and I just finished it today. I've played through Radiant Dawn, and Path of Radiance, and I have to say that it is probably the second best FE game I have played so far. I liked PoR the best. Anyways, the story was good, but it had moments that were pretty boring. But what story doesn't? It was good overall though. The game play was really cool but a lot more cartoon-like than the previous games. I don't know where to start. In battle: It was interactive. I liked that people could pair up. it was more customizable. better than the past games. Outside of battle: there was a world map, which wasn't in the other games. Spot pass options were cool. I liked the fact that there was extra side chapters. And there is my terrible F grade review. :D I would recommend this game to anyone who likes strategy games. Play the other ones first though. I hope you enjoyed this. It's about 8:30 PM, and I have an EXTREMELY LARGE TON of homework to do. (I procrastinate a lot.)
