The next Xbox will certainly be in the cloud along with a several TB Hard Drive. Onlive will be put to rest.

Why you ask MS is the best software company in the world they will have a Cloud instant game setup with the next version of Xbox Live on the next Xbox. And they will CRUSH EVERY ONE PERIOD!!!!!!

I know the next wave of systems mainly Xbox will be HUGE on instant stream and all DD gaming and media. I plan to stream most games next gen screw evan putting in a disk at this point.

one jarring thing about that... I don't have to pay for Onlive monthly/yearly, so I can give two biscuits about XBL in "cloud" gaming. Now if we're talking about just regular consoles... then thats when I'll start caring about XBL as thats where it shines... although I've been watching alot of what this guy on this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hwe8h-nS2ew&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL) has to say about XBL (against your typical fanboy) and what he has to say is kinda true...

[QUOTE="Miroku32"][QUOTE="rolo107"]This reminds me of the response Steam used to get, just saying.rolo107
OnLive is a bad idea for times like these. Many people prefer to download their games on Steam or go to the store and buy the retail version instead of paying for rent a game. I don't know if the idea will be successful in the future but for now it is quite bad.

That's a very objective way of looking at it, I was expecting a trollish and biased reply. But yeah, you hit it right on. It just lacks a lot of appeal for where things are, it's ahead of its time, but I don't understand the brutal HATE for it. Eventually OnLive could be incredible, but it can't start out that way; there just isn't the funding available for something this ambitious.

well, you've got to understand. the Onlive system is still working out its kink and errors with its hardware. The onlive game console is still a work in progress, I have it and its really great by the looks of things (this is with me playing Splinter Cell Conviction for a lengthy amount of time). Most of the games it gets are newer PC related games, so thats another reason why most games aren't out for it right now, as devs need to take the time and make a compatible version of their game available for its system. For now, it may seem a little shady, but give it a good month or two when newer games like F.3.A.R. and Crysis 2 come out, then it'll start to pick up. Mark my words.

Nothing, absolutely nothing!

Seriously, Home is possibly Sony's biggest fail besides 3D.

brickdoctor
its free so how can it be a fail? I honestly don't care for Home, ever since I couldn't log into it about 3-4 months ago, I just stopped. Oh! One question, is it still a beta? If so, this could quite possibly be the longest running beta tested game ever (like that means anything though).

youre completely wrong, A KYOSHO 1:43 diecast of a GTR costs somewhere between 30-40 US dollars and KYOSHO is a big name in japan for making scaled cars.....you also get a 200-300 page book, a keychain, 5 DLC cars, and a bigger box.

This is for the US CE not the Europe CE which sucks doh

ooooh my god! A 200-300 Page book that has absolutely no meaning at all, just showing you concept art and "behind the scenes" coverage of when they were making the game! Im gonna spend $100+ on the collector's edition just for that book! Oh! AND a keychain! Wow guys, this is a HUGE bargain!

Could you be any more condescending? Seriously, I think the OP is ridiculous for buying all of them but I'm going to get the C.E. It's not about value, or a "HUGE bargain". I want to see the making of stuff, I care about that. I want the die-cast model and the keychain.

Why do you want to see the making of stuff? Im just curious why people look at it thats all. In my eyes, whats done is done. I just want to play the game. F### all the other stuff, unless its the instruction manual, but I hardly read that thing. To me, all the extra objects you get in the "collector's edition" (or any other edition) is just a waste of money, unless your getting the freakin soundtrack to a game that has good music. Thats just me though.

For anyone who missed it. The lack of discussion about Portal 2 is creepy, plus I wasn't here for E3. So what's your guys thoughts on Portal 2?

WhenCicadasCry
^ fail. I'm sorry but this game probably won't even be as good as Shadow Of The Collosus. Why am I comparing the two? because to me, SoC is the 10th best game ever created, followed by Grandia as 9, Street Fighter Alpha 3 as 8 and Diablo as 7. Now I'm not saying Portal 2 doesn't have the potential to make it here on the list, as I could be wrong and therefore get pwned, but I highly doubt it. No game this gen has really been that astounding to be in the top 10 games of all time...

[QUOTE="Tsuanthony"]

you know those spec op type guys in uncharted 2 that can put you in a choke hold/choke you?

what's the point of pressing the triangle button? are you supposed to button mash it enough that you can break free?

is it even possible to free yourself? xD

lol i wish, what would be awesome is if you can actually counter those sneak attacks, like having a quicktime event where you press a button and you can counter him with a punch or something
