It definately supports 4 player, and it was definately through a multitap (as were most PS1 games) rather than system link.

Surely having 4 controllers connected at once is a fine emulation of a multitap? Why would Sony release the game without allowing a major componant of it to be played?

Crash Team Racing, a great multiplayer game, right?

WRONG. Despite having 3 controllers (and 1 GH3 guitar), the number of players only goes up to 2 in the game (3 and 4 are greyed out). They are fine on the actual PS3 (1 2 3 and 4 light up correctly)

Does anyone know why?

P.S. The GH3 guitar actually works as a controller, not the best but still that doesnt work in 3 or 4 player either.

Just a quick question,

I have a PS2, a PS3 and also guitar hero 2, and of course GH2 is incompatible with the PS3, so I was wondering (in the hope of having a second guitar for GH2) if I plugged a GH3 guitar into a PS2 USB port, would it work with GH2? Cos i'm kinda sick of my friends grappling with Message in a Bottle on expert, with a dualshock (re: its freakin impossible).
