I'm currently reading a book in titled "Who Can Save Us Now?" The book is alright. I cant say much about it but some of the short stories in it are ok while some are blah.

You dont need the HDMI cable to play the PS3, however, if you want to have the best gaming experiance, get yourself the cable.

I think that games like The Conduit Will make the Wii a worth buying console for those that don't have one yet.

It might be that you just ran into the luck of buying one that is prone to brakedowns. If I was you, I would just go to Best Buy and change it for another one. The only problem is that you will have to remove the hard drive and than place it in the new PS3. Other than that, I dont know what to say but the fact that I feel for you. I had my xbox 360 brake down on me about 4 times in less than 7 months. I one day got it back from Microsoft and just traded it in at the nearest GameStop store. Yeah, I lost some money, but I didnt lose any more of my time and patients.
