[QUOTE="Rob-Belmont"]They are stupid if they didn't profit. Did they profit? Yeah no kidding who here is the idiot?I think it's safe to say that the majority of the people buying ODST, a SPIN OFF of the main Halo series, would be the most diehard Halo fans. Sure there will be others getting it, but the majority of them will be big Halo fans, fans who would have already bought all the map packs and stuff. So why did Bungie think it was a good idea to include all the maps and stuff in the game, the target audience already has them. A new single player + one new multi player mode is hardly worth the asking price, for those guys anyway. Personally I think that overall the game is good value.
I bet Microsoft put Bungie up to it in order to have something to sell in Q4 2009, we all know that Microsoft never hesitate to rush things if it means extra profit, screw the loyal customer!

Shame that its not a PC exclusive, it will probably lose some of the Mechwarrior sim elements. Mech Assault, anyone?WombatringoWhile I loved the old MechWarriors (I have a Steel Battlion controler to play them on :D) for their simmy sweetness (and the Heavy Gear serise after) MechAssault was a wicked fun way to smash around in a mech too.
[QUOTE="Tasman_basic"]Sarcastic?... yes somewhatAny REAL FF fan would only have a Wii. Think of the fanbase that was built on Nintendo surely they wouldn't leave. amirtie?
